I am wondering: "What are your favorite Convention Memories/Memory?"

So if you have any to talk about, go ahead and say your story.

I'll always love Cybercon 2005 in New York. It was my first. I met Peter Cullen and recieved 2 Autographs. I shook his hand and thanked him for all the years of joy.

The only Botcon I've been to so far was in 2007. So many good memories, just too many to list. Seeing an old friend, Tony Preto was among the best. Another was seeing actors in the flesh on the TF Movie night. Also, the wonderful Botcon set that IMHO may never be equaled.

Hope to make many more good memories this year at Botcon 2008!

I haven't been to any conventions :(  but I am arranging one completely irrelevant to anything that makes sense. It's gonna be a blast (and at Chuck E Cheese)

Botcon '07 screening of the Movie. They brought in Tyrese and Rachael to meet us before the film started. After the fanfare died down a little I yelled out to Tyrese to "Bring it!" He laughed and gave me a thumbs up.

I also picked up a Lucky Draw Energon Omega Supreme at the show which rocked. (Thanks Hydra) :thumbs2:

Only been to two, but it's a can't-miss for me from now on.

But far as a single favorite memory, not sure I have a specific one, just lots of high points. I honestly just had 72 straight hours of fun each time. They're a complete blast.

You forgot to mention hanging out with ME!!! LOL
I have been to very Botcon since 2000, both OFTCC, and Iacon One. I've met many board members and voice actors. As was mentioned, I even had one of the movie writers hang out in my room and pick our brains for ideas. I've enjoyed screenings, dinners, Casino night, Auctions, and interviews. My kids have been interviewed and are even on the Rhino videos release of the original series. But above all this I would have to say my most favorite was Iacon One. It was simple, small, but it was obviously ran by fans. No large crowds, no security wanting to see your badge and stopping everything you did. IT WAS SIMPLE. A time for fans to get together. Unfortunately, the last few conventions I've attended have lost that.
A close second would be all the times I've had the parts night. Definately the best part of every convention. I hope that this year the parts night will be even better, but I guess that depends on everyone here.

Yeah, that was awesome. Right before the movie I had to run to the restroom, when I got back I noticed securty was thick. Tyrese and Rachael we right in front of me. Botcon 07 would always bring back good memories. Parts parties are always off the hook. :D

Ahh, so that was u yelling behind me. :)  I was right in front of you (a little to the left) w/ two of my friends.

My most memorable Botcon was Botcon '05 becuz it was my first. I've been wanting to go for years prior to that, but the funds never worked out for me. And finally in 2005 I said to myself, "I'm going no matter what". I was a little bit nervous becuz I was by myself, and I didn't know anyone at the con. But I figured, "Hey, everyone's here for the same reason I am...It'll be fun and I'll meet new ppl." As it turns out I did! And the 3 of us hung out the entire time in Frisco, and been hanging out at every convention since then.

What also made 2005 memorable for me was the FunPub staff, they were all so nice and very easy going. They made me feel like I've known them for years. The accomodations were off the hook, too. Free beer after 5, and free breakfast every morning (and not just bagles 'n muffins either)...I was very pleased. :D

Botcon '07 is a close second. I went on all the tours, including the Hasbro tour. And getting the chance to see the movie before the general public was a nice bonus too.

Here's hoping 2008 will be even better than last year! :thumb

You're right meeting you was really the true highlight. I didn't want to say it because I met many other board members and I didn't want to play favorites :)

I'll be at Botcon this year, and hoping I'll be able to make a parts party or 2.
