If I had room, I'd display everything I have. Not the case, unfortunately. 20th Prime and Alts with their G1 counterparts (if I have them), all Classics, ML Juggernaut, RiD Scourge, Evac, Cyb. Downshift, Excellion (with Hotshot's wing mod and gun), Battlestar Galactica Viper from Joyride, titanium Galactica and Mk II viper, diecast MadCat mkIV (will wear a custom paintjob someday), 1:18 1984 Ferrari GTO (favorite car ever), McFarlane Pirate zombie, Robocop, techno spawn Code Red (badass space ape), Armada Skywarp and Overload. I really need a bigger house. I probably have 10x that much in storage.

Most all of them stay put.. Have put others away.. Armada and Energon are put away completely. A lot of my Jap. BW and non show BW figures are put up. Cybertron is about half put up.

Alternators have always been out as well as G1 figures. My gestaults are always out as are my CR/RID figures. All my giants are out (Metroplex, Trypticon, Unicron, Primus, AAOP, Omega Supreme, etc)

only one who has never moved from his display on my shelf is Reflector. My diaclone WJ has had a good 5 year run, but i'm now selling him. I've aquired THS.02 convoy, who has been in place since i got him, and so has my Microman Browning. dunno how long they will stay, but i'm sure not as long as reflector. Everything else has fluxuated with time and taste.

I have limited shelf space, so I have a certain amount of "never put away!" shelves that always have the same toys in them, which I think represent the best subcategories of TFs overall, while the other 2/3rds of my shelves I just put the more recent toys in them, and then when those 2/3rds get full, I put two or three shelves worth of the oldest toys among them into storage and the cycle begins again. My "never put away!" shelves of toys are:

    -Vehicon shelf
    -Transmetal 2 shelf
    -Optimus Primes shelves
    -Alternator shelves
-Big dude ($50+) shelves, which also have Unicron Spawn TFs on them
-Brave Max (who is on his own shelf)

So far only 4 TFs in my collection get permanent shelf space. Alt Decepticharge, Alt Ravage, Alt Shockwave, and Alt Swindle. The rest get rotated in and out.

All Alts and MPs stay out, with everything else being rotated as I have limited display space. Supreme Starscream's a permanent fixture as I have nowhere to store him!

I have limited space, and get I tired at looking at the same robots, so everything gets rotated in and out about every 2-4 weeks.

Everything. If I dislike something enough to put it in storage, I dislike it enough to sell it and put the money towards something else. I see no point in keeping something that's going to sit in a Rubbermaid tub in my closet for years serving no purpose, only to eventually get sold years down the road anyway. And I'm much pickier than I used to be, so I don't even sell stuff that often anymore.

I do, however, greatly admire those of you who are committed enough to ACTUALLY rotate things in and out of storage, bringing your Armada or Energon or Beast Machines stuff back out periodically, and I'm not joking. Good for you.

Certain TFs of mine stay out for long periods of time, but are eventually rotated out in favor of new stuff. But no matter what, I always have at least one of my BW Scarems on display. Somehow, Shortround's managed to stick around the entire time since purchase.

The Godzilla and Ultraman figures get rotated in and out even more often, but I've kept out Sadora, Gudon, glow-in-the-dark Eleking, Mechagodzilla 1975, and Bogal for a while. My Godzilla and Mazinger Chogokin will definitely remain on display, especially once I pare down my collection some more.

    ditto on the room.
i live in a small 2 bedroom apartment tower on base.
the 2nd bedroom doubles as our office and "nerd room".

i have a large bookcase (about 6'5''x4'x1') filled with all kinds of stuff.
    mostly star wars
    some gi joe sigma 6
    car stuff
    magazines/comics

two glass corner shelves in each corner oposite the door
    the left shelves:
    top: optimus prime stuff
bottom: alternators, classics, random TF's (not enough room!)
    the right shelves:
top:vader stuff (epic force vader signed by prowse, vader unleashed, etc.)
    bottom: vader helmet

    on my corner computer desk:
    MP4 convoy
    ML War Machine
    Robocop
halo 2 master cheif (just moved him out to the living room to guard my games)
    snake eyes v.14
    stikfa army guy (black)
on top of my monitor i have a small convoy bust with matrix revealing
ML punisher hanging on the wall next to monitor

i also have a hutch type thing that i use for storage, it has a glass display cabinet on top. inside the glass:
MORE vader stuff, all clone/storm troopers stuff
    on top of the case:
ARC-170 starfighter, anakin vs. obi-wan unleashed, other star wars goodies

everything still on carbacks i hang from thumb tacks on the walls next to the shelves.

this is all sharing room with my airsoft guns and RC cars/equipment. its a TIGHT fit!!!!

the only thing that spilled out into the living room was
    medicom vader v.1
    sideshow luke
proudly displayed in duelling pose atop my entertainment center.
i still need to build a display case/diorama for them.

    *wheew!*
man, we should just post pics?!?! or am i missing the point of this thread?
    oh yeah, rotation...?

    no.

PITA to get my stuff out of storage.
i might go digging for my super articulated spidey from the first movie though.

btw, tikgnat, PM me a pic of that black widow statue? sounds cool. im a bit of a fan since she and frank have some history.

6-inch Tits Optimus MISB, and next to it an opened 6-inch Tits Scourge.

On a dresser, Primus in planet mode.

That's it. Probably won't change much either.
