in ur opinion what toyline you think would had been fun to see in the toy story films, lets say like hot wheels, transformers, MLP, Gi joe. etc?
I kind of wouldn't mind if some old school 80's toys had been included in the Day Care Center, I mean that's where you find stuff like that on occasion. It would have been interesting to feature cameos of... Army Ants Strawberry Shortcake Care Bears Jem and the Holograms Inhumanoids My Pet Monster G I Joe Transformers My Little Pony He-Man She-Ra Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles To add authenticity to injury they could have also had, missing accessories, broken or lost limbs, sun faded paint, chips and dents and scratches. To show that these toys were loved. Seriously loved, before being donated. Some of them could have been in the process of being restored during the tour to show off that aspect of the 80's franchise. It would have been nice I suppose, but the licensing issues alone would have more than likely been murder. I mean, remember what Rex said. "I'm from Mattel, well I'm not really from Mattel, a smaller company purchased in a leveraged buyout." Heck even the Smurfs and COPS toys would have been nice to see. Or The Real Ghostbusters and Police Academy toys.... Ah, what possibilities.
Transformers. And G.I. Joe. I'm sure that Disney/Pixar/whatever-director would be business savvy enough to either a.) secure the rights to whatever they wanted or b.) create close knockoffs to whatever they wanted without infringing on copyright. I mean, would Hot Wheels really decline an offer to be included in the roster of the next super-successful Pixar movie? Think about it with any movie that involves product placement. Michael Bay gets alt modes for his Transformers characters and car companies get awesome product placement and exposure for their product. Win-win.
