I am losing space to storing the bubbles for DX and scout figures. Should I throw the bubbles from the DXs and scouts, or keep them?

    Thanks.

I usually toss the plastic out with the twist ties. I do keep everything else.

It sounds like I need to get to work on throwing out the bubbles then. Thanks to all who helped me.

This is exactly what I do as far as complete packages go. I also clip bios and tech-specs and tape them back to back from US packaging.

I miss the days of scissor friendly tech spec-bio cards. G1 and BW win the prize for specs.

I miss concise tech-spec/bio cards as well. It makes keeping the relevant parts of packaging today really difficult. In Cybertron you've got to clip out all these different sections of the box and find a way to keep them all together. And then you've got all these different sizes, because there is no set pattern to where they put things or what size they are across the size classes. I've been keeping a stack of box backs and cards but it's really starting to look like a big pile of mess. I'm thinking I'll just have to create my own version of them, or maybe scan them all into the computer and trash the originals. They're just an eyesore to me.

Remember the rumors back when Armada started that we were going to start getting collectable cards included in the Transformers packages that had the bio and tech-spec on them like Japanese toys do? How cool would that be? Nothing ever came of it when the Armada collectable card game got cancelled they just dropped it and only briefly brought it back as stickers in the Energon line of the "box art." But I would LOVE to have cards included with the characters. Barring that, a snippable "file card" with bio and tech-spec would rock.

Or, I'll just start doing with every line what I've been doing with Classics, create my own file cards for each character.

But, to the original topic, toss that packaging. The bubbles just take up room and do nothing for you unless you like to try and find ways to re-attach them to the cards for display purposes. Unfortunately, that takes some skill in removing the items so that you can convincingly put the packaging back together. Myself? I don't have that kind of patience, nor do I have that kind of room.

Most of the cards I just keep in a tall box in the closet, plenty of space in it even after keeping all of my Energon, Armada, Cybertron, and now Classics cards and it keeps things looking clean.

As for the bubbles... agreed with everyone else, I pitch them.

Toss the bubbles in the trash. I had started to become a hoarder of worthless packaging until I recently went through a purge, throwing away all bubbles for basics/dlx's, and any packaging that was not for reissues (including BWX), or imports. Felt great, too.

I take the inserts out of the bubbles first, then its off to the trash can with them. I try to keep all the paperwork that came with the TFs in hopes of when I do have to sell some, I can maybe get an extra buck for the artwork, card, instructions, etc.

Take 'em to the Recycling dump. Put 'em in with the pop bottles I do. Without the twist ties of course.

Armada had the sticker-cards. Energon had actual cards with tech specs, but no bio on the back.

I'd love cards again too, it's so convenient to store them in a binder.

I just keep Japanese packaging because most Japanese packaging is "collector friendly" and toys can be easily placed back into them after opening.

Everything else I throw in the garbage. Hell, with Cybertron I even threw most of the force chips into the garbage.

Many just keep the cards and paperwork. You can just stack them and save alot of room. (or shove them behind furniture )

Wish I had the strength to do it, I keep everything. Usually throw each wave of empty boxes or packages in garbage bags with labels and throw them in storage.

Mine go in the bin as I lack space.
I do keep the backing cards though.
