Man, this is why I am a plastic addict. I met all my goals for 2016, got MP Ironhide, MP Ratchet, TR Fort Max, Maketoys Gundog, and Stomp. Even got the DK9 upgrade kit for Titan class Devy.

And now I am a bit panicked that my next big thing is Grinder and it probably won't come till April.

Plus want to see the new Poseidon figures and what happens on Black Friday. But 3 months is a loooonnnng time.

You could always collect another line. I'm trying hard, and I mean HARD, not to grab the Ghostbusters Classics figures, some of the Ninja Turtle stuff, and a few of the Marvel Legends figs.

I find that I'm having to pre-order a new 3P MP almost every other week to stay on top of my want's. I think I'm finally up to date with the available MP's (official or 3P) though I tend to do pre-order's rather than wait for retail. But there are at least half a dozen figures announced that I am just waiting for a pre-order to go up. And then, as MrAngry said, it's very easy to find yourself collecting a whole other line. That damn IDW comic has me ordering MMC's DJD figures and eyeing off the MP scale IDW Megs, Primes and Prowl. There's always plenty to order...too much sometimes.

Yeah, collect other stuff. The Arcadia VF-1S with super parts is coming out any day now. Or buy some kos of figures you kinda wanted but weren't going to pay full price for.

take a random figure off your shelf, something you haven't touch or seen in months, and fiddle with, or some pics of it.

The answer is: Use the time to save up for the next time you to want something so it's easier to afford.

I was going to post but I can just quote Stargander as it's bout where I am at. Also, I have been making a point to change at least one guy a day and refining the display itself

Even though I don't really watch anime anymore at all, I still find the aesthetics pleasing to the eye, and I absolutely love figma figures - especially diorama stuff for them and TomyTech's Little Armory line of guns, cabinets and the like.

I am also a fan of select HotToys figures.

Of course I also collect 3 lines of Transformers figures also:

Masterpiece, Large Chug/IDW figures and Legends size.

So there really isn't too much of a break inbetween regarding transforming toys.

Lastly, I am also into PC/gaming and plan to sink another few dollars in a upcoming build someday.. Hopefully lol.

I never seem to have that problem. Vintage GI Joe, Transformers, and Gobots, MP and 3P Transformers, modern era Joes, some Lego Star Wars, and other random stuff like Hot Toys and Sideshow. Shit. I have a long way to go before I run out of things to hunt down...

    Broaden your interests.

At any given moment their are 20-30 figures I want, and on average can only get two or three of them.

Alternatively save your money for other worthwhile things or a figure you don't yet know exists or will exist.

Agreed with everyone else - if there's nothing you want to spend your money on, save it. I'd love to be there.

There's still plenty of stuff on the horizon, even if it's far off. Take a bunch of envelopes, write a few of those "on the horizon" items on the front of said envelopes, and then start stuffing those envelopes with money. It will give you a weird satisfaction, kind of like your own personal preorder. You won't have to scramble for cash when the item actually becomes available, and it will prevent a lot of buyer's remorse.
