in the DOTM Making of that i saw in youtube, one of the producers said that the Mikeala and Sam relationship would had progressed a bit more in DOTM had Megan been in it, but i am confused in what he meant with their relationship would had progressed, so do you guys have any idea in what Lorenzo meant with relationship progressing for both characters

Seriously, no, what it meant was that it probably would have gotten more serious. The whole "marriage" subplot would have made a bit more sense with Mikeala instead of Carly, and they presumably would have been living together like Carly and Sam were. They'd have been more than high school sweethearts or people just starting in their relationship together, they'd have been a real, solid couple.

RotF informed us that they already had. Sam's mother was spreading the news of Sam's popped cherry when he was going to college.  

But yeah, most likely marriage. Perhaps even simply talking about the possibility of having kids. It would've given the two characters something to discuss to make it seem like they're a legitimate couple.

Progressed meaning running around with Sam in a destroyed downtown Chicago looking sexy for the teenagers with overractive hormones while explosions happen everywhere around her, surrounded by blatantly obvious Chevy product placement.

Yeah, like how ROTF had that long subplot about Sam being afraid to say "I love you" DOTM would have had these multiple dialogue sequences while Sam and Mikeala run from explosion to explosion while Sam tries to sell her on the idea of giving up the butt.

Comedy Option: Sam is trying to sell her on the idea of pegging instead.

 

They could have been more of a cooperative team but with secrets from each other (one possible example: the movie True Lies), which works well in many other film types. Either or both of them could have moved on to a more serious career, got a house, told the parents to stay off the grass (and quit eating the grass) while all the time getting visits from Wheelie and Brains (who survived the crash).

 

People would have complained more about Megan Fox's acting but people would have been happy to see them together in the end.

Maybe Sam and Mikaela would've found out they're close-ish blood relations. Which could actually explain why Mikaela just vanished for DotM.

 

Nice twist. Might have made re-watching the first two movies a bit awkward though, since Sam rocked her world by the beginning of ROTF.

 

I agree, Mikeala probably would've been kidnapped at somepoint, which would crash their wedding, enter OP saving the day with the wreckers and so on...blah blah blah..done before who really cares though? Though I TOTALLY prefer fox over the new girl, DOTM was done nicely. And if sam and Mikeala wouldve been married in the movie, I'm sure it woulda had some stupid fairy tale ending where after all the credits were done they showed Sam and Mikeala's kid with Bumblebees head or something that would be an Autobot Pretender ... ugh..
