So I was going through my Beast Wars that I have in a box under my bed and found these guys that I had forgotten about. I got them for xmas YEARS ago probably back in like 1996 or 97, and they all came in a box together. They are a Fly, Hornet, Moth, and Mosquito type transformer, but they're defiantly not Hasbro. The plastic is kinda cheap, but they are die cast in some of the heads. If this helps here is a close up of the symbol thats on all of them, it looks like some type of bear with a "L" and "H" in the middle

And to finish off, here is a few pics of them in robot mode.

I think they're KOs. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing them at Toys R Us around the time you said you got them. They came in a boxed set too.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I actaully kept thinking they had something to do with Toy R Us for some reason, like maybe I saw it on the box, but I couldn't remember for sure, or know why I would know that any other way beings I actually got them for a gift.

Oh wow! someone else has one of them too lol Well that helps a lot. I was trying to figure out what they were online, but I wasn't exactly sure what to call them. I kept trying things like "KO insecticons" or "KO insect transformers" but wasn't getting much results.

I can't help it, man! And that's Apis mellifera to you (and everybody else too). I had actually forgotten that I had attempted to answer the same question all those years ago, but when I googled "mosquito ko transformer", it was the first link to appear. Crazy!

You can still find these every so often at Big Lots stores.

I've got those two...11 different ones actually. Two 4 packs and three I found single carded. They're pretty fun little KOs but some of the antennae break off pretty easily.

Yeah, the antennas actually broke off the hornet one not long after I got them, they were really frail and brittle to begin with!
