They dont really need a shrink, but if they ever did it would have to be the Autobots because they are the only ones somewhate emotional enough to worry about things. The Decepticons just dont give a rats ass!

True...but one of the things I love about G1 were the different personality quirks some of the Autobots had! :D

Speaking of character quirks...one of my fave G1 episodes was the one when Red Alert lost "it". The animation was good and the action was excellent! I remembered Rumble taking down Optimus with a tackle - I kid you not!:D

Rumbles a badass man! They do in a way for tv give them some peronality that would have them on the Dr. Phil show.

    Nah, more like:

    Decepticon 1: *ANGST* *ISSUES*

    Decepticon 2: *BLAM*

    End of matter.

Though Dirge could use some councelling about his manic depression. The scene I remember him for most was when one of the Autobots smacked him to the ground and he just grumbles "I knew this would happen".

According to the tech specs, G1 Sunstreaker was a sociopath.

Maybe they could all talk to that green haired psychiatrist dude from X-Factor. If he though mutants had issues try giant robots from outer space.

Trailbreaker was described in his tech spec having an inferiority complex due to his massive fuel consumption but I don't think it was portrayed anywhere except once in the British G1 comics where he gets his back end blown out.

Wheeljack must have had some kind of issue. I mean seriously, did it ever occur to him that putting simple brains in giant, robot, fire-breathing dinosaurs was a bad idea?

Sixshot from G1 had giant as hell issues. First he's a Decepticon. Then he's an Autobot. It says so in Victory. Hence the name Greatshot.

Transformers: Cybertron had Noisemaze and Soundwave obsessed with blowing up Gigalonia.

Well considering they've been at war for millions of years, if they didn't have any issues, I'd be surprised.

Got that right. "Good news! Your new recruits are here! Bad news! They're a compulsive gambler and cheater, a paranoid-delusional security expert, a depressive architect, a repairman who borders on obsessive about maintenance schedules, a narcissist who can't get along with anybody, and a daydreamer with some pretty scary critters running around in his imagination (UK comic) and this weird attraction for human females. Oh, and Inferno." It was great.

It got even better as the series went on. Budiansky sure liked the crackpots and oddballs. I think Tailgate was my favorite.

He was an engineer, and he had an excuse to make robotic dinosaurs. Did he need anything else?
