Anyone knows? obviously is not made from a specific vehicle for legal reasons, but anyone knows what cars the designers might got the inspiration?

I'm thinking either an Escalade or Deneli looking at the front end.

    Not even close.
IronHide was built as a scaled a pickup chassis version of the 4500 4X4 medium duty truck. There is a 5500 model 4X4 rated with 13 ton springs too.
These are a real 5 to 13 ton work trucks which dump boxes, refer boxes , fire trucks, mid sized buses are built on. Not a common pickup truck which is closer to a four door luxury sedan/car by comparison.
Ford, Dodge, GM and International have a "pretty boy" interior option package for a price that spares no luxury. And custom shops make an oversized but to scale pickup box to bolt onto the frame.
It isn't until you see a 4500 pickup parked beside a 2500 pickup that you notice the difference. The 4500/5500 crew cab pickup is massive.

You're talking about Movie-verse 'Hide. The poster's asking about Universe Ironhide, which is built around a totally different vehicle.

Pops managed to narrow down the options to either an Escalade or Yukon, which are pretty similar either way.

EDIT: pfft, beaten by a few minutes. Darned research. XP

For Movie Ironhide, you'd be completely right.

I'd say it was inspired by some form or combination of GM-made SUV.

The back end resembles that of a Trailblazer... Maybe an SRX... And the front is mostly Escalade, but I know for a fact GM doesn't do any SUVs with a grill like that (but it is an option for some sedans).

To me he's just a generic big/midsize SUV, and it doesn't matter what he's based off of. It's not like I plan on going out and buying the vehicle that he most resembles just so I can say I'm driving Ironhide.

I think Escalade is the closest. You could even say a Nissan Armada.

Yeah, it's really a mash-up of two Caddys. The Escalade and the SRX, but with a V-Series type grille.
