what stand is this?

    That's a standard Figma stand. I'm not sure if they're produced separately from the figures they come with, but they are producing a special line of diorama-type display stands, like the one seen here. di:stage Basic Set

    Another option are the Tamashii Stage display stands made by Bandai. The only thing is they're really only good for scout and deluxe-sized TFs. Voyagers and above are too heavy for the stands to support safely.

    How'd he attach it??? Figma stands only have the tabs.

    If you look closely, he's using the "grasping" piece from a Tamashii Stage stand to hold Soundwave by the waist.

    We have a winner!

    If you want to more easily replicate this look without buying two different types of stands, Tamashii Stage Act 3 is a version made of clear plastic and is released by the end of the month. Same possibilities and limitations as the Act 2 version, in solid black.
