I'd say either Harry Osborn or Aunt May. My first tought was Norman Osborn, but then we would've never had Iron Patriot. Both Harry's and Aunt May's deaths really helped Peter grow into more of an adult instead of the much younger seeming Parker post Civil War. Yes I can understand not wanting th character to grow to old, but thats what the Ultimate Universe is for. Ever since USM 1 only a matter of months have gone by, story wise.

Carnage never should have been created in the first place...

I'm guessing he's too evil and violent for Spider-Man in your opinion. :inquisiti

Gotta go with Aunt May. The storyline around bringing her back was the most ridiculous. Plus she's been old and sick for so long. And she doesn't have that much relevance since Peter no longer lives with her. Also, I dislike the idea of her being married to JJ's dad...

    lol what an insulting assumption.

No. The problem was he was too derivative, unimaginative and boring.

Norman Osborn, so many bad storylines he's been involved in since he came back, plus in the time he's come back (aside from a short run under Warren Ellis) he's been nothing but a poor shell being used to prop up events.

    Spiderman himself. Zing

But really the whole "i'm really like a spider" with the spikes in his arms was way out there. Glad they got rid of em.

All that JMS stuff was garbage, imo. I'm glad they gave him the freedom to do it, but I'm even more glad we weren't stuck with it permanently.

I actually liked most of the writing itself as i am a fan of his works, but the spikes were just too much.

Aunt May. They really think she needs to be part of the stories but they keep frinding ways to get rid of her. Currently she moved away.

And hey, they keep certain characters dead. Hornet and Dusk are still 6 feet under.

    All of them.

Death shouldn't be a revolving door.

Aunt May, let her go be with her Ben.

Really let peter go too or at least really grow up, they want a younger Spiderman fudge time a little and have Ben Reilly back as a younger clone of peter.

I don't read Spidey so I didn't know Aunt May died but I was pretty disappointed when I heard that Kraven was back. I read a little of the Last Hunt story line and I thought it was great. Sucks that they undo other writer's works with dumb resurrection storylines.

Thing is they tried making Reilly Spiderman before and the fandom rioted untill Parker was back.

And I'm gonna say Aunt May and Harry Osborn as they're resurrections were mostly pointless wheras they're deaths impacted the character greatly*ironicly the same excuse they use for keeping Gwen dead despite fudging up her character*.

Norman's return didn't bother me much as he's Spiderman's Joker.

Ya guys knew Gwen Stacy was THIIIIIS close of returning from the death, as i read that originally they wanted to retcon her death after One More Day in an attempt to retcon Gwen and Norman kids out of the continuty, but they decided to keep her dead (thus her kids remain in the mainstream verser, at least her son is)
