G1 and proud of it. Transformers almost lost me during the BW/BM-Animorphs era, but RID brought me back.

The movies got me interested in the fandom, but Animated turned me into a toy store stalking addict

I was 12 years old in '84 so I've been there since the beginning. After G1 ended though so did my collecting. When I saw Beast Wars toys on the shelves and on TV, I was totally confused with the premise and I wasn't interested. It wasn't until the 3rd season of Beast Wars that I realized that they were re-introducing the ol' G1 characters and basically using the same continuity, I was hooked again.

It was Beast Wars that brought me back and I haven't left since.:D

RID introduced me to TFs altogether. The Movie Franchise secured my permanence in the fandom.

I was born in 84, so I've grown up with Transformers always being around. I hardly remember the G1 cartoon, but I do remember the G2 episodes when they aired on Fox. I remember seeing the pilot episode of Beast Wars and being super excited, but then I never saw it again til Toonami aired the Agenda episodes. When RiD came out, it sucked me in and I haven't been able to escape since. I did not like the Armada/Energon/Cybertron years, but thankfully the Masterpiece and Alternators lines came out to keep me interested.

The Transformers, "More than Meets the Eye Part 1" in 1984. I watched the show from start to finish when each episode originally aired. However, I was forced to rent The Transformers: the Movie after the theatrical release from the local video store near the end of season 3.
