You see, next month is when I turn 19. However, I don't know what to ask my parents for. They pretty much said no TFs, so I'm stumped. What should I ask for?

Money CAN be exchanged for goods and services...

Do you have any hobbies besides collecting? Do you have a car? Can you ask for stuff for either of those things? Are you going away to school? Does your rez/dorm/student room need anything like a kettle or a fridge or a hot plate? Are there any consumer electronics you don't already have?

It's a pity you're not 21, or the answer would be easy... BOOZE. Actually, that's still a good answer.

    - Donations to the flood victims in the Philippines with your name on it then casually lay it around somewhere where one of your hot sentimental chicks would find it. Win-win and its Santa approved. Its also tax deductible.
    - Clothes. Something nice enough so the ladies would make you take them off.
    - If you play videogames, why not?
    - Gamble a bit, play it cool and hope for a gift card (hopefully a TRU one)

I remember my parents doing the same thing to me when I was ten. I played it cool and got a flashlight radio. Under that was a bunch of GIJoes. The next year, no more toys. Videogames were out of the question as well. I bought them by saving up my allowance.

A new hobby. Something that can actually open doors (and of course ladies) for you in the future.

I think I'll just go with money. With no car yet, I think I'll need that to pay for gas money for the people I carpool with

Uh, I already have a girl I'm interested in and potentially interested in me, so no to either of those things.

Okay, the first part about using donations to the Philippines to just show off is offensive seeing as I am Filipino, but I like the all of the following.

Grants, scholarships and my parents already do that lol

    First, Gotham, then, THE WORLD.

Seriously though, I don't know, I'd say go for money anyway. Or an XBOX/PS3/WII if you're into video games.

A leather jacket, turn that "maybe interested in me" into something more definitive.

Money. Chances are that your parents, no offense intended whatsoever, will get you something and you won't like it.

Laptop, Tablet, or College tuition. If you have all that, then books, those effers get expensive mighty quick!
