I'm sure we all have those certain things that piss us off to the point of beating people up.

I wonder how many of you restrain that urge.....

There are certain things out there that will set me off, especially if people mock me about my collecting. That's like pushing all my buttons at once.....

Of course, I'm a nice guy...you know the type of guy who looks harmless that seems to attract those who want to pick on ya [had that happen to me in school all the time] and the thought of me beating the pulp out of someone doesn't pop up in people's minds.

So how do you people deal with it?

Either you cool off by some other means or just go Vesuvius all over the person that set you off and anyone else who messes with you?

Just a curious question....since I've had this happen to me recently.

Um, I grow the fuck up?

Or, I dunno, find some outlet for the excess aggression. Get a wife/punching bag or something.

It's hard to be scared of a guy that uses the phrase "kicking keister".
I hope you're still in high school and not an adult.

Sounds like you are insecure. It is just someone's opinion and is only valuable to themselves unless you give it value too.

I just shrug shit off. Not everyone is going to agree with me so I let them go about their day unless they are being an ass.

My ear lobes are stretched to 3/4 of an inch and almost daily people will ask "omg does that hurt?" or give me strange looks but it is usually just because they have never seen something like that before. It gets irritating but I accept it.

I refrain from "kicky keister" because I am an adult. And because I like to set a good example for my children. And I take medicine to balance my thoughts. And I remember the term "turn the cheek". It works.

I remember that real life isn't the internet, and that getting the crap kicked out of me hurts. Works every time.

Well I guess that is the typical response I should have expected from asking a question like this on TFW.

For your information I'm 24 years old...and I just used the term "Kicking Keister" just for the fact we all know what Transformer loves to say that line and how he acts....

Seriously, this is just a simple question.

I'm sure we've all had people piss us off....just how many of you in that rage beat the shit out of someone? Or just cool off and walk it off....

Ignorance is what sets me off.
I deal with it by hitting people with knowledge.

    edit: for reference.
I have never been in a real "fight".
I've showed up a few bullies, but nothing violent.

I have a feeling this thread is going to end up locked based on some responses here...

So Mods probably need to go ahead and delete this thread cause I can clearly see that this thread will be a problem.

    I remember I'm not 12 years old.

Seriously. I know you'll think this is another dick answer, but it's an honest one. When you're an adult, much less 24 years old, you simply don't "kick keister." It's just not something you do.

I honestly don't know how to express it any better than that. It's basically like telling you how I don't get pissed off at gravity and ignore it.

Honestly? I don't have anger management issues. And I find it amusing when other people do. There should be NOTHING that ever sets you off in a rage, except possibly seeing your loved ones being murdered.

If you're getting all nerd-rage when someone makes fun of you for your collection, then you have an issue. If you get made fun of and your response is "TYJOS SMASH!!!", then you might have issues.

But whatever you do, don't post a thread like this and get all butt-hurt that people aren't coming out and saying "YES, I SUFFER FROM NERD-RAGE TOO!". I hate it when people get upset that people don't respond in their thread like they want them to. WELCOME TO THE JOYS OF THE INTERNET.

I was a real fuck-up in my early to mid-teens - had a very short fuse, and got into plenty of fights. That's since changed; I now know how to solve my problems via more subtle means.

What pisses me off is when people don't wish me a happy birthday! It's all about kicking keister at that point.

Since Tyjos has declared through his profile that he is leaving TFW2005 forever (don't worry, he doesn't think we're mama fuckers, just rude people) I'm going to close this thread.

    NEWS FLASH PEOPLE.

Just because people don't respond in the way you were hoping for on a forum doesn't mean your life is over and you have to leave. If you can't handle people poking fun at something in your life that you see as a fault, then don't post about it for everyone to read.

    I mean, seriously now.
