As the title suggests, I am planning on trying to reshell a deluxe transformer, and need to know the scale of the model that would be required.

    Thanks for any input.

Deluxes are made in basically 1/32 scale; however, Hasbro takes a lot of liberties in their designs and every deluxe tf is usually not exactly in 1/32 scale per se, but you might be able to use a 1/32 scale model to reshell it anyway. Also keep in mind that DOTM and Prime RID deluxe figures are at a slightly smaller scale than previous deluxes. All this is on top of the fact that 1/32 scale seems to be an uncommon scale for car model kits (or whatever you plan to use to reshell with), and you might need to go up or down in scale a bit to find the shell you want. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Ah thanks for all the info, I really appreciate it!

What class of transformer would fit with a 1/24 scale model kit?

Alternators and maybe to a slightly lesser extent, the non-basic Human Alliance line.
