Not to get too far off topic, but.....

Is it just me, or does Ravage look like the offspring of Satan and Gypsy from MST3K?

 

Prolly FAB Prime just like i did with the first movie line and more then likely the Wreckage repaint, other then that, screw movie figs, i'll wait to see what Universe figs get repainted for Wal*Mart exclusives  

 

Definite Purchases

- Any new molds that aren't characters from the first movie, with a priority on new characters from this movie
- Voyager Starscream
- Devastator, whatever that may consist of
- Skywarp (repaint)
- Ramjet (repaint)

Possible Purchases

- Leader Prime, but only if it combines with Jetfire; otherwise, I'm happy with my Leader Prime from the first movie

Not Purchasing

- Retools and minor remolds of toys from the first movie (eg - Voyager Ironhide)
- New molds for characters from the first film (eg - Human Alliance Bumblebee), with few exceptions (eg - Starscream)
- Repaints, unless there are Seeker repaints of the new Starscream mold. With the price increase on Deluxes, I can't afford to be spending money on repaints any more, unless it's a very exceptional circumstance.
- Peripheral merchandise (voice changer helmets, blasters, etc)
- FABs, Robot Heroes

The only character I plan to rebuy is Starscream (and I guess technically Barricade, but he's an entirely new design rather than a huge improvement on the old design). Unless the combination with Jetfire can only be done with the new Prime mold and is absolutely amazing, I'll be skipping the new leader Prime just because I can't justify the price.

I'll be getting The Fallen (hopefully in a larger class than the one we've seen), Devastator, Jetfire, Sideswipe, Wheelie, maybe the twins, maybe Arcee, Ravage, we'll have to see what we're getting still.

 

All the new characters, plus Voyager Starscream and Leader Optimus.

 

Most likely, none. I've yet to impressed by a single figure we've seen yet. Not even Starscream is doing it for me, mainly because I was never bothered by the cannon hands of the first one. I may cave eventually and get Starscream, but as of now, there's not a single figure I like at all.

The only other possibility would be the repaint of Wreckage, which then be quietly slipped into my ClassicsVerse Con display...

I highly doubt I'll have the funds for Devastator (or the space if the rumours of it's size are true), and I'm not thrilled by the first figure we've seen yet either.

 

The only ones I know I'm getting at this point are the voyager Starscream and scout "Spoons the 2nd". I am a Starscream collector and I love quirky alt modes.

Despite how cool the new Starscream mold is, I'm disappointed that it's even smaller than the TF1 version... which in itself was already too small. Since the TF2 Decepticon toys seem destined to be completely clusterfucked scale-wise yet again, I don't think I'm going to bother buying any of them. I already got rid of all the TF1 Cons because of the horrendous scale issues, so it won't be much of a loss.

Looks like I'll be sticking with only buying the on-screen Autobots since there's actually a sense of scale to them. Except for Arcee. I won't be touching that one with a ten foot pole.

I'm surprised I'm getting more movie toys this time, I just wasn't feeling the designs from the first. These ones look more fun.

 

Devastator no matter the price, and possibly Prime and Jetfire if they can combine.

Anyway, I will get the figures of every character that appears in the movie.

 

None of the toys shown so far really appeal to me. Too much of the things that really didn't appeal to me about the movie look.

If we end up with some hybrid figure like Wreckage was between movie look and a more traditional look then I might get that figure.

Also waiting to see what the Ravage toy might look like since he's so far the only movie character that just works visually for me.

 

The only one that has interested me so far is The Fallen.

 

Yep. Every one, including all Japanese exclusives, variants, etc... movie toys are teh love.
