What retro game would you like to see reborn?

    That is exactly what I'm suggesting. Take the game you created over 15 years ago. Give it new graphics and sound and you've practically revitalized a series! Sonic's 20th anniversary is in 2011. About 2 years from now. You start working on that game today, you could definitely pump out a game like this by 2011.

    I wouldnt mind seeing a sort of remake for the Wizardly (I think that's how it's spelt) RPG games. Those games where an odd mix of sci-fi and fantasy.

    Sonic actually came out in 1991 but I can see where you're getting at. All the newer Sonic games suck and it seems as though SEGA don't listen to their fans. I really wish they'd make a completely 2D Sonic game but with 3D graphics and make Knuckles and Shadow as main characters. Ahh, that would be absolutely, positively, epic.

    Actually, i was reading in one of my xbox magazines, there is a 3D sidescrolly sonic game coming out here soon that is totally retro, but with kickass 3Dness, but its...sonic...not knuckles and shadow, tho that would be epic.

    That would be truly truly epic to see, i hope they do, i really love sonic, the thing is, the first sonic was uber fun, but hard, i'm sure allot of us would agree, sonic 2 was a tad bit more fun, and a little less hard. So if they were to do this, they should try and mesh the first 3 together, because the first was really hard, second was really fun, third (wasn't that sonic n' knuckles? If so, this one) was really fun as well with best graphics and overall fun game play, so if the three combined, that would be epic for a 20th anniversary thing.

    The original Metal Gear 1&2, I want to see Snake and Grey Fox going toe to toe in a live minefield, and Snake taking on Big Boss.

    Also it's not really retro but Baldur's Gate in full 3D would be awesome.

    That would be pretty cool to see (MGS1-2), but i don't think that Konami would go and do that with all they have going with Metal Gear these days. :(

    I see a lot of votes for Blaster Master (which is a game I love) - does Blaster Master Zero not count as a recent remake?
