What prime toy was this?

    I remember having a prime toy when I was little that I loved to bits. it was a prime that transformed into a missile truck, he also had a pump on his back that fired the missile. The most distinctive feature I remember about this guy was that he had "Optimus Prime" stamped on his chest.

    Yeah that's the Combat Hero Optimus Prime no doubt about it.

    I've actually got the European one, Sureshot. Weird how he is so clearly Optimus yet not, I always used to consider him and Archforce body doubles for their respective leaders.

    wasn't the "combat hero" applied to the repaints of megs & prime that were never released.

    Its actually 'Hero' Optimus prime. Combat Hero is the unreleased repaint.

    Indeed. They had me scratching my head back then wondering why the names were wrong. A little toyshop here had loads of them for years after release and at one point for just £2.99 each. I wish now I'd grabbed them all at that price. They must've had about thirty of each on shelves at one point. Was the same little shop I got my MISB G1 Fort Max for £40 from.
