I'll be honest with you. I actually made three columns using MS Word, made it a PDF, then print screened a portion so I could make it a jpeg. I couldn't load a Word document on to this.

 

I have 26 official MPs and 6 3rd party figures but I just got done selling a dozen third party MPs to refocus my collection. I have 32 CHUG style third party figures if we are counting those.

 

I currently have all of my crap in Color Note on my phone. It takes forever to thumb through.

 

65% 3P vs. 35% official
(I did not count any of my 5 3P combiner teams or any of my non-transformable figurines...even if I display them with my MP collection.)

 

Actually, it used to be 1/3 of each, but I sold Citizen Stack and Sunstorm because the MP scale didn't fit my needs. Still have KO Silverstreak. Though if we're willing to pretend that KBB CW Megatron is a pseudo-MP (because he really doesn't fit in CHUG), then it's formerly 50% KO, 25% official, 25% 3P and currently 100% KO.

 

I hit my Numbers Guy in the Ministry of Stupid and Irrelevant Statistics and He came back with Official 1113% to 3P 98012% (it's an election year) so I sacked Him from that task and did it the old fashioned way:

MPs

Official: 29 - 35%

3P: 52 - 65%

KO: 0.

So, a clear win there for the 3rd Party and they are therefore duly elected to something.

 

Initially didn't want to do this because of the answer I'd see. Not the percentage breakout, but the total number (which easily translates to the approximate $ amount spent and it doesn't even include other lines, nor those 'no longer fitting the bill' of MP scale); but seeing quite a few others have taken the plunge, I guess I have a fun (and revealing task) to undergo this weekend.

I already have a spreadsheet I made from the mp scale equivalence list of all G1 characters broken out by season/movie on these boards; but I don't think I accounted for the double dipping, shattered glass and MPP optimi. I'm intrigued to see how to automate with formulas & leverage those data in that spreadsheet that are already tallied to see the scary end results. So, thanks?

I own 3 mpp10's , ym clear purple seeker , bb7 hotlink on pre order , ko cupola and ironwill is on pre order and will probably buy the ko pointblank , that's it for my ko's at the moment , the rest its half official and half 3rd party
