Out of all the extra bells and whistles in a Masterpiece toy, which extraordinary quality you find to be the most defining?

Why price tag? A lot of original G1's such as Omega Supreme, Fortess Maximus etc' are just as expensive.
I like the articulation of the fingers and the head.

The Masterpieces that I've seen (and I've seen reviews on youtube for just about every one of them), all have A LOT of detail, more than any other version, so, IMO, what makes a Masterpiece, is the ammount of detail that is put into it's design/construction/look and feel.

So by that reasoning, it's fair to say that some of the figures in other lines (such as Leader Class Starscream) should be considered Masterpieces, because of the amount of detail that when into that figure. (they worked in extra detail when they didn't HAVE to.), watch Peaugh's review of the prototype, and you'll see what i mean.

I think Masterpiece should be like a re-issue of the original G1 toys, but larger in size, and much more detail and articulation. I've said this before, I'd love to see a Masterpiece of Sideswipe, Jazz, and Smokescreen.

I would say that all of your options as a whole make a Masterpiece. Except there isn't any die-cast or rubber tires on the seeker mold.

Painstaking detail is what drew me to the Masterpiece line, but everything listed in your poll are benifits of Masterpiece figures, IMHO.

What makes the difference for me is the metal. It just makes the figure seem like a higher-grade toy than the plastic. Detail is also a major draw, but it isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

I like how the Masterpiece of Megatron look's a lot more like his cartoon character than the original G1 toy ever did.

Detail and true to the original character is what I look for. I don't find the orignal MP-3 Starscream to be the definitive "Masterpiece" of the character because of the color. I mean they couldn't have released the Optimus mold in Brown and said it was Optimus. Same goes for "Ultra Magnus". A white Optimus isn't Ultra Magnus. For the most part I'm not a slave to the exact G1 designs and colors and whatnot but if it's being advertised as a definitive version of the character it had better follow through with the claims.

You can't really blame the G1 toy though as the cartoon and comic designs were based off a different figure than what was finally released.

I would say the painstaking attention to detail make these guys well worth it. I particular like the fact that they are EXACTLY what we all wanted the Original G1's to be when we were kids.

Combine that with the assorted accessories kits avail, these just rock. IMHO, MP 05 Megs would be naked without the Justitoys upgrade kit. I mean, it SHOOTS, for god's sake! lol

My only complaint with the MP's thus far is that They really need to get a better handle on QC though.

The poll needs an "All of the above" option.
