Customers Ignore Dead Convenience Store Clerk Gurjeet Singh In Gary, Indiana - cbs2chicago.com
Sick and totally disgusting. Those who didn't even care to try to help the victim, are almost as bad as the killers in my opinion.

Collective ignorance. One of the main reasons the whole world is so effed up.

At first I thought it was referring to the lack of interference with the guy who shot the clerk. To be upset at someone who is scared to approach a man with a gun is ridiculous. Obviously after reading it further, it's because no one did anything to help the poor man after the killer fled.

    That's bullshit.

For Gary, IN, I'm not surprised.

Wow. Can we pave over Gary and turn it into a shopping mall cuz right now it's clearly a useless waste of space. This is sickening, a man is lying there dying and no one bothers to help and then they have the nerve to ask for money. These really make me sick.

If not helping wasn't bad enough, this was worse, imo:

That's pure BS. While I haven't lost all faith in humanity, the little faith I had before reading that story has definitely gone down a bit more. There are decent and good people out there, they're just vastly outnumbered buy worthless scum like the people mentioned in this story.

whoa whoa whoa. This is Gary, IN and it does not reflect Indiana as a whole. If you come to indiana you are more likely to die a boredom seeing corn and soy fields.

i lost what hope and faith i had in mankind when 9/11 happened

other then being their for my friends and family i live my life in such a way that i associate with human society in general as little as possible

other then that and my posting on the forums at times i pretty much live my life as a reclusive sort of misanthrope

genrally speaking i have more respect and compassion for animals then i do people

See what I'm talking about when I said what I'll do if aliens invaded the Earth.

There are a lot worthless people in the world. My ex-gf said the only thing that separates animals from humans is that humans are willing to charge into danger....

I'm seeing less and less of that now.

BTW, "I don't care if anyone got killed, shopping is serious business." FTL.

i don't know what is worse , people standing around and letting that poor guy die or basicly demanding a reward to talk about what happened, I have been to Gary, Indiana and met some of the cops down there( MY Ex-GF's dad was one before he retired) and at the time it did not strike me as a dangerous place

Yeesh! The high horses. :rolleyes2  Someone called 911, and maybe that's all anyone there could do. I took a first aid course, and I'm not sure if there is anything I could do for a neck wound. But then I wasn't there and I'm not going to pass judgement on anyone.

Holy f*cking hell. This is the most sickening thing I have ever read about someone's death. Why the hell did those people just stand there and do nothing!?

Really? Ever? I mean it sucks for sure, but it's not like Dahmer bad is it?

I wonder if people knew the guy was shot/dying, this article is pretty leading and vague about that. (just like every article that gets posted in the National Enquirer err I mean General Discussion section of this site).

EDIT - Watched the video, it looks like a lot of those people came in after the crime was committed. They say one person called 911, since there is no audio maybe it was discussed - how many people are supposed to call 911, all of them? It is a little surprising nobody checked the guy out, but it seems a lot of people came in after the fact and had no idea anything had happened at all.
