Just wondering if anyone knew what type if paint that use on the new figures. I am gettig into customs and I want to know what type of paint it is so i can strip it. The tutorial forum lists what types of strippers to use on different types of paint but does not list what type of paint is actually on the transformers. thanks in advance to anyone that knows.

It's an acrylic in an alcohol medium so that it dries quickly in the factory. Standard high-percentage (80-90%) isopropyl alcohol (AKA rubbing alcohol) will take it off with varying degrees of effort.

Also, on some figures, namely Space Case at least, The silver and red details are much tougher to remove. Alcohol alone didn't do it, I had to use a wire brush to remove that paint(even after three hour alcohol bath). The black and silvery white came off with alcohol though. Also, as a warning a lot of Space Case is made of translucent blue plastic, which is a bit more fragile than regular plastic, this causes it to break around the front wings/chest area. I've had one figure that broke and another that already shows the stress from just transforming it.
