It doesn't have to be some rarity or an amazing bargain, it could be something as simple as a mainline figure that you just absolutely love and are happy about picking up.

I would say the best purchase I made was when I was at a toy show, I snagged a MISB (japanese) G1 Starscream. The box is actually in pretty good condition too. Albeit I passed up a MISB G1 Megs for him (can't recall how much he was at the moment though), but SS is my favorite TF ever so it was worth it. I think I got him for 80...was a while back though.

Best purchase ever? My '94 Cadillac Seville SLS. $0.00 + tax. (I covered tax on blue book for it. That's it. Something like eighty bucks all told.)

Best toy purchase ever? VF-1J Hikaru + Super/Strike parts. $210 with shipping. Probably could have held out for cheaper, but the thing is amazing.

Best Transformer purchase ever? I didn't buy it. My wife gave me Brave Max when RID was closing up. So, Brave Max $0.00. Score.

    Ebay:
I bought a set of 5 green hornet pencils still sealed on the card from 1966 for 10 cents at a garage sale. I sold them on ebay for a little over $750!

    Ebay:
Dead serious. I couldnt believe when I saw them shoot up to that price. After talking on the phone to the winner I believe he would have gone much higher if there were other bids.

TWO Megatron Microphones for under $30!!!!! And as of late they have turned very rare. So, going to be bringing one down to sale at the TFW table. :D

Also bought the pedal car... oh boy forgot how much I paid for it. :lol  Apparently I don't want to remember that. It's extremely rare and goes for a lot and I got a decent deal on it.

And the gem, MISB, super minty store fresh Soundwave Tape Deck. This thing is MINT. Got it for only $90! Man at Botcon wanted $150 for it. Haven't seen one so far as mint as the one I have.

God I wish I could go to Botcon this year ;_;..but then again I don't think I'd be able to not blow whatever cash I had on stuffs.

Maybe next year though eh? See what kind of deals I can find.

Yeah, little off topic there >_>...

My best Transformers purchase was two 20th anniversary DVD Optimus Primes for $17 each on clearance at Target. Best ever figure purchase is probably either a MIB Gungrave Beyond the Grave for $39.99 or the original Gazelle the Peacemaker red version for $29.99 mint in clamshell.

Hmm, well a friend gave me a C7ish nearly complete Reflector a few years back, I ended up using that in a trade, hmm got a free 20th Ann Prime a few years back for nothing, ended up buying him with a walmart gift card. I bought a pretty large collection of old G1s that most were in good condition for $400, I guess probably one of those.

The most recent purchase for me was a 2006 Toys R Us Exclusive Microman Special Two-pack Set with ACROASURA Vs. Microsister HANNE that I got off of eBay for $26.00 plus shipping. The usually go for $40-$80 on eBay and around $30-$50 on Yahoo Japan (not including fees and commission).

Dude. Are you serious ? :lol  :lol

I think mine were my 25-years-old Superman III 35MM trailers.
Snipped them on Ebay for $60 all together. One is the American version
and the other is the European version.

    Er...what's that?

For me, its kinda hard to pin point a "best" purchase ever because it would be like choosing a fave toy...but whenever the retailers do some massive slashing on their prices ...I will be there! LOL!
