Transformers use to be AI, but now evovled into robotic organism.

They can have kids ( not the sameway orangics do). Just the same way adults are made.

I'm sure I posted this before, but...

Transformers have no concept of sex, childhood, or parenthood, and their definition of family is completely different from the human understanding of it.

Gender exists only as self-expression on Cybertron, and relationships are completely based on emotion.

Most transformers don't have a childhood. There's Wheelie, but he's one of the few expections.

For going on 8 years now my partner, my brother and I have run a pen and paper D&D style game around the TF universe. (HEAVILY G1 but influenced by all media).

We've had various players come in and out but the one thing always comes up : GENDER and SEX.

We began with the idea that ALL the ideas had root. The PRIMES helped ignite the hot-spots, but SOLUS had secretly imbued a program code (the CREATION MATRIX) into them so the new generations eventually discovered they had the ability to procreate. Titans would carry many of these spots to form colonies.
Physical contact can be pleasurable just as pain hurts them. We've seen them kiss. We took this to a conclusion that the most intimate they CAN be is to *ahem* INTERLINK. This requires the two bodies to MERGE into a more stationary object that allows the spark energy to intermingle.
Assuming one of the mechs is solian type(regardless of presented gender) and their safeties have been deactivated they can choose to allow spark energy to merge, to build, mingle and begin to form a new proto spark that contains components of all it's parents CNA. This spark will grow and feed off the carrier parent until it has to be removed (once stable) and put into a stasis pod to grow it's last bit and adapt to the sentio mettalico (protoform matter).

At first many cybertronians opted to simply grow their offspring to their full size and upload an info packet that contained basic knowledge. not all "parents" took a direct interest aside from the love for their conjunx and the need to grow their race.

As interaction with other races came, some adopted to emulate the interesting practice of "parenting". They began immediately putting nurtured sparks into proto bodies with out the extended growth or info update. Thus requiring them to teach their own view onto their offspring.

When wars came scientists discovered that SOLUS PRIME had added the CREATION MATRIX program into the MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP itself, and began using it as a conduit to vector sigma and began to mass produce sparks for soldiers. This same process would be used by Quintesson overlords when they enslaved a nearly starving young cybertronian race fresh from it's first war.

That said it hasn't stopped us from making RATRAP level inuendos.

We used that in a type of degenerate clone process that bred malformed monsters for a villain.

The Decoy Shell's weapon modes have special effects when Prime Masters are plugged into them

Micronus makes the Decoy Shell act as a shrink ray

Vector sends the target to a random point in the future

Alchemist secretes a chemical that makes the target's armour weaker

Quintus causes the target to be infected with Cosmic Rust

    Megatronus ignites the target

Amalgamous forces the target to keep transforming non stop

Nexus integrates the target into the nearest combiner

The Liege Maximo confuses the target into joining the opposing faction

Prima creates blinding bursts of light

Alpha Trion gives the target so much knowledge they go insane

Solus turns the weapon into the most useful one it can be at the time

Onyx degrades the target's mind to the level of a beast

The Thirteenth transforms the weapon into a Matrix Cannon

The Decoy Shells are all drones and each have dozens of copies, all controlled by the core bot. For example, there are dozens of Cloudburst Decoy Shells, all mentally connected to and controlled by Cloudburst himself, who has a normal sized Pretender shell.

-The Terrorcons were built when the Decepticons stole wheeljack's plans for the Dinobots

-Blaster and Soundwave have a secret agreement never to harm the other's cassettes and should they find one harmed they will heal it and return it

Certain Transformers — if not Transformers at large — have the innate ability to split into two, typically leaving behind a part of themselves behind as near inanimate objects because the Spark follows the new body. Some Transformers who caught onto this claim that this is a holdover from the Primus of Dividualism — a figure who split herself to create Unicron, and then the Primes, who in other denominations is often conflated with Solus Prime. Solus was, in fact, the first Transformer to discover this ability and used it to further enhance her abilities. This made her the "first Powermaster." Natural Headmasters such as Mindwipe use it as well.

An unusual case is Reflector. He was born with a twin Spark in his body instead of it forming a twin and allegedly as a single entity who learned early on about the ability to divide early on. His defective physiology, however, lead to him splitting both into two bodies and creating a third one that had what could be described as a shadow of his twin Spark. They were only able to recreate their original alt mode instead of seamlessly merging back into one. It took a while before he realized that he could essentially cheat the system and trick the Vector Sigma network into making copies of the shadow, the supercomputer being confused by exactly what it is looking at.

Shockwave was fully ready to simply abduct and experiment on the grunt but Thundercracker brought the news to Megatron, whom decided to exploit this to form an army.

A lot of Autobot believe these shadows to be drones, but — morbidly enough — they fear death, need to communicate with each other, and experience personal growth independent of one another. It's unknown where the original trio is. All three may well be dead, but Reflector essentially either made himself immortal or started a subspecies of Transformers — all of which are near universally treated as cannon fodder. The silver lining is they all love gossip and being entrusted "drone" soldiers mean they get all the dirt. Shockwave doesn't trust him (and probably killed the original three), creating the "Brunt" drone model that steadily replaces Reflector and often killing clones before they can spread reports of his activity like wildfire.

If Reflector unlocked immortality (by proxy?), one has to wonder if any of the Primes managed to do so as well...

Beast Machines was a what-if future that didnt actually happen. Waspinator lived out his live as guardian of the proto-humans. Primal and his crew led the charge on societal reforms once back on Cybertron, while things weren’t exactly perfect there is no longer any chance of Maximals vs Predacons being a massive war like Autobots vs Decepticons.

When Alpha Trion rebuilt Orion Pax and Ariel into Optimus amd Elita he made them both potential primes, either could have gotten the matrix after Sentinels death.

Nothing in IDW Optimus Prime past Onyx/Shockwave’s defeat happened. Instead they managed to save 80% of each colony before they were devoured and killed Unicron before Cybertron was lost. The colonists brought back pieces of their worlds with them, the Velocitronians have their rolling city and the Eukarians brought animals and seeds for a new jungle. Lost Light happened as is.
I don’t like ending stories by burning down the playground.

I doubt the Quintessons made the Cybertronians, but even if they did the Decepticons = military bots Autobots = every other bot is definately false. The war is between competing philosophies, not between two “races” for lack of a better term.

Bayverse Cybertronians on the other hand are all warbots that got out of their creators control.

Here's something that could be adapted to any future series:

In Cybertron's primordial past, Titans walked the earth: bestial, skyscraper-scaled beings that preyed on and demanded worship from the ancient Transformer tribes living in their shadows. There were only a handful of them: Metroplex (ape), Trypticon (quadrupedal lizard), Scorponok (scorpion), Chela (giant bird), Mawris-Ur (giant wolf), and Atropophis (sea serpent) are the most famous. Their conflicts wreaked havoc across Cybertron until the best of them, Metroplex, waged war on the others and slew them, one by one. Scorponok, the only other half-way decent one, exiled himself from Cybertron in exile for his actions. Metroplex died of his wounds, though he lived long enough to return to his traditional territory. The corpses of the Metrotitans were dead but dreaming, existing in a state of half-death. Certain Transformers called Cityspeakers could commune with these ancient beings, and they acted as the heralds of the Metrotitans. The Cityspeakers themselves wielded power granted by the Metrotitans, becoming pagan shaman-king demigods. Of them, Windblade as the only one who behaved with honor and decency. The others abused their power horribly, with the one called Stormreign getting up to the same crap that Zeus was said to on Earth. The Cityspeakers would rule for ages, with only a few warrior-kings able to stand against them. Grimlock, this setting's version of Conan the Barbarian, was the greatest of the non-Cityspeaker kings.

This ancient time came to an end with the arrival of the Quintessons, who wiped out the Cityspeakers, rightfully seeing them as a threat to their power.

In my headcanon, anything with "Master" in the name uses technology from the planet Master/Nebulos. Mainly, that's Micromasters and other human-size robots (but not exclusively). Furthermore, the Micromaster partners of the large Powered Masters & Battlestars are not separate entities, they are the characters' "normal" everyday bodies -- the TF's mind can occupy the small body or the big body.

I've always headcannoned that after Beast Wars and Dinobot falling into the lava, he survived that and his systems put him in a sleep state. Eventually the Autobot's found him and repaired him, leading to them coming up with Maximals and him leading the new ones that were just invented by the Autobots. Eventually he became a General in the future, where he saw his "past" self go on his mission with Megatron.

Also head cannoned that the planet Beast Machine's happened on was actually the moon, and that the main Autobots came up to find out what was going on since the Moon base (which became a city) went out of contact and they couldn't get up there due to a force field blocking them.

Another headcannon is that the Dark Guardian's eventually became smaller bots and cons.

One more, Tarantulus is actually the spawn of Unicron as he was created along with others to undermine the Maximals and Predacons and fix his "dad" up.

And I have more, I just can't think of them at the moment.

Thundercracker and Skywarp have a relationship like that one friend who was a bad influence on you as a kid and coaxed you into doing stupid stuff. But taken to the logical extreme with him convincing TC to be a Decepticon since they joined. Thundercracker realizes now that he could have always chosen either side he wanted, but feels like he's in too deep to turn back so he still reluctantly serves Megatron.

All aboard on wtf train. The train will be leave in 15 mintues if anyone wants to come on board

They're metallic organism ( not in all universes) who are male + female who probably use to sexual reproduce and use to be in romatic relationship. Over time they came up new ways to reproduce and have little to no longer need to have sex ( if they need to do it again, then they can gain it back). However the desire to be in a romance relationship still linger on in them even after millions to billions of years not sexually reproducing. When they use to sexually reproduce, one femme can be infertilize by ten mechs and will lay those eggs each belong to different fathers. It's the reason why Primus never made an equal number of male and female transformers.

Adding on to this Starscream is the other friend that always feels like he has to be the cool one even though he is seen as weaker than the other two. He's like the smart kid that hangs out with the jocks who don't get his passion for things not related to sports but tries to cover this up by acting smarter than them because he thinks he is, and they sort of mock him behind his back.

Thundercracker is the responsible, wholesome older brother, Starscream is the jealous, bratty middle child, and Skywarp is the irresponsible, edgy younger brother. You can pry this headcanon from my cold, dead hands.
