Since I'm not in school anymore, nor do I have a job yet, I can't really say which day is my favorite anymore. It varies. But while I was in school, every Friday felt like a holiday because...you guessed it....I hated school. I remember back when I was in elementary, I'd get in the car on Friday and my mom would have her KISS cassette in the car. I'd crank up Detroit Rock City and for some reason, it was always my no-school-PARTAY-anthem.
Easy answer for me: Thursday. It's the anticipation of the upcoming weekend and what it brings, regardless of what plans there are. When I use to watch more tv, Thursday was also my The Office/Parks & Rec/30 Rock (use to also include Scrubs) comedy block. The only non-sports tv I'd watch all week. Currently, I'm playing basketball Thursday nights. Win or lose, we grab food after and it's always a good time! And after Thursday night's sleep, you know there's only one day left to go. Awesome!!! Exactly why I mean by anticipation. For me, Thursday = the opposite of your Sunday night feeling. That scene also popped into my mind!!!
Friday- Especially at night right after I sit my butt on the couch thinking about nothing at all. Saturday- Same as the above. Sunday- Same as above. Thursday- The relief that you get since its just one more day before the weekend. Wednesday- Hump day. You're already half way through. Tuesday- I agree with newman on this one. Monday- I don't work on Mondays. That stupid lingering feeling regarding about the work days are starting all over again.
Friday's the best. Saturday's ok, but Friday's gone. Sunday's depressing because after 5pm, it's just like another work night.
