It's a long story, obviously. Started out long ago customizing Lego figures into game characters. Then went into miniature painting (Ral Partha was awesome for nice, detailed figures). I also created some bigger figures based on my RPG characters, made from Japanese capsule toys.

Then some years ago, after getting back into TF, I started coming across lots of different customs. An early Subaru G1 Smokescreen, TFMaster's Menasor, etc. I eventually decided to make myself an Alternator Razorclaw...

It basically exploded once I moved to my current place 18 months ago. Since then I've made:

My first was Alt Plowking v.1

I have a few more customs in the works too.... 

 

My first one was Classic 2-pack megatron (damn, his color scheme sucks...) followed shortly by classic voyager megatron, both with the Cybertron Galvatron color scheme. Then I completely repainted TFTM Leader Megatron and followed with a complete Jazz repaint and a scratchbuild shield.

Next was:

Well, first off I should say I come here to the Radicons group to get some inspiration and just to see come kick ass customs!

My first "Hey, I could do that!" moment was the Hot Wheels trailer for Cybertron Armorhide. Inspired by Redline & Chaos Muffin's works, I went ahead with my own attempt. Unfortunately, the free sticker promo that Reprolabels was doing had expired, but I was able to purchase a set from them. I started work, and had a wonderful time working on it!

Unfortunately for me, I applied the wrong clear coat to it, and the paint 'cracked'. Attempting to 'hurry up' the paint removal process (to start over), I used something called "Zip Strip".

"Zip Strip" is an industrial paint thinner, and the 'may cause plastic to weaken" should be taken at face value...  
-I've since picked up a replacement trailer and will someday complete this project.

My second project is still sitting on the back burner. Reprolabels & Sculptbot decided to team up on a joint venture. It was decided to take a PowerUp VT6 and repaint him into TFW2005's own Boombox! -Unfortunately, I haven't heard much regarding this guy since we saw some mock-ups from Delta & Sculptbot. I'm still waiting to hear about this project, as my VT6 is still sitting on my shelf stripped of his paint, waiting to be transformed!

My most successful project (ie- ONLY success so far) is that of my "Kitty Truck". I took a 20th ann. Pepsi Optimus Prime and repainted him into the truck my grandfather used to drive. By far my best work (if I say so myself).


Right now, I have a TFTM Stealth Bumblebee waiting for me to figure out the proper project for him, but so far I'm leaning towards "TFTM Waspinator"... and I hope to do a LOT more afterwards! Speaking of, Deliciouspeter, I am so stealing that "Aucepidus (Bumblebee) Prime" and doing him! I love that idea!

My first custom anything was my custom scratchbuilt 1/144 dark Gundam from G gundam (Final planet version the one where he is attached to the colony) its pretty big use a real cheap globe with a TON of sculpt, Ive really been doing mecha customs and now devoting myself to TF's only my first custom tf being Hardhead reapinting and moding the onslaught classic mold, and now my WIP pretenders.
