    King Arthur by Hans Zimmer
Conan the Barbarian by Basil Poledouris
    Starship Troopers by Basil Poledouris
    Crimson Tide by Hans Zimmer
    Schindler's List by John Williams
The Last of the Mohicans by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman

I also like the LOTR stuff, but I haven't been in the mood for it lately.

I had high hopes for the 300 OST, but I felt a bit let down with the overall production.

Of course there's classic stuff like William's Star Wars but the first score that comes to my mind and is probably my favorite is Bernard Herrmann's Taxi Driver.

Only one I have ever bought on cd was 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula...(Coppola version)

    I love it!

Other than that, I like the Star Wars, Superman, & Indiana Jones themes.

Absolute, top of the top favorite: Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. The fanfarish power of James Horner's seafaring-style music throughout that film just made it sooo much more fun. This is a symphonic score that really completes the film; I don't think anyone could have done as fantastic a job putting together the score for this film.

    Other favorites:
-The Star Wars scores (all 6, lumped together), John Williams
    -The Rocketeer, James Horner
-The Matrix trilogy (again, all 3, lumped together), Don Davis & co.
-The Battlestar Galactica series music, Bear McCreary
-The more recent 007 soundtracks (including work by David Arnold)

I have to agree with you there... And for any of you guys who chose or just enjoy anything from James Horner, the FF12 soundtrack has a lot of Horner-inspired tunes, hell there are even cues from Wrath of Kahn and Krull.

The Phone Coast music in particular is fantastic.
