Yeah. I mean, why would we wanna have a few different transformers when we can have a few different repaints instead?

I would of liked all the HA to be clean cars or have the stuff be removable. Crossing my fingers Roadbuster can.

Was really hoping that the HA Wreckers would all be weaponized.

Weapons cost additional money. People tend to forget about production cost.

I'm thinking that eventually, we'll get a version of every wrecker in their weaponized and unweaponized forms. Just give it time.

Looking at the HA wrecker, I got the impression that the weapons could be out or hidden. Flip around panels and stuff.

This is what I was thinking. To avoid consumer confusion we have one weaonized nascar and one non-weaponized. So down the road we'll get some remolds

    Exactly.

They don't want to overload us with samey figs, but still want to offer them weaponized/vanilla.

I was thinking about doing that, but so far they're pretty lame representations of the weaponized version

Well the way I see it you have two possibilities:

    1. Have repaints so you have more of a chance of getting the mold you want.

    2. Have no repaints and make it harder to buy the mold you want.

    Take your pick.

Well in roadbusters case. The non weaponized deluxe choice comes down to how the chest transformation has to work. The hood of the car splits to form the stealth force mode as well as his robot chest. On the legend it was easier to ignore it. But on the deluxe your getting a more impressive transformation because the chest is not pre-split for you.
