Hello guys, I hope you could help some friends and me to solve this little question...

A friend of mine got a Repugnus, but he has got some particular signs that doesn't make us think of it as an original. I am cpying all the info he posted:

"A couple of weeks ago a good friend of mine (and fellow tf collector) received this Repugnus. At first sight you could think is the original one, but watching closely you notice that instead of the 4 screws in front, there are only 2 visible (although it has the 4).

Also there is no indication of the rub sign spot and it doesnt have the info of Hasbro -and such- were it should be. It also has a different location of the protection of the spark activation switch. And the screws are black.

As far as I knew there wasnt a Ko of this toy and it was neither made from a previous toy. So what is this? Also the plastic is practically the same as the original. Any help???? "

It looks real, and it looks exactly like mine, meaning that it has the same "abnormalities' as yours. I know for a fact that mine's real, it came straight from the box.

Thanks for your info! It was really useful!

    :p

Sorry man, I was in a hurry and I had no time to write all the text and copy the links of the pics. Sorry if it brought you back some sad memories.

UnicronHound, so we just can consider it as a simple variant?

I just wanted to ask you something guys...

Where does Repugnus should have his Hasbro/Takara trademark??? We can't find it anywhere on the figure I mention.

It seems this figure does not have any Hasbro or Takara logo in anywhere. Any ideas about it?
