There was a $1 DVD title that sold at Walmart for a while under the name "Space Transformers", but the cover wasn't a blatant ripoff like this one. Whatever it is, it's attempting to be legit--it's from "East West Entertainment" which previously has just released public domain stuff as part of its DVD catalog. It might be crap. However, i bid $1.00 on it. that cost plus shipping is still less than $5.00. At the most, if i win i might end up with something else to use as target practice with my shot gun.

Man, that sounds like essential viewing for me. A few beers, a pizza and this random anime crap.....I like it.
I don't know if it's the same one, but I have Space Transformers, only the cover has a picture of Kaneda from Akira (re-done with a helmet on his head) and a picture of a Gundam robot head (like the linked Ebay item Lumpy posted). The graphics are not that great, and the voices are horrible; they're almost..."sarcastic" in a way. It is done anime style, but it doesn't reach the requirments to be a true anime IMHO. Like those effin Pokemon XD.
Hehe, that isn't anime, it's actually Korean Anime Knockoffs, seen those at Walmart for $1. Bought one of them, and boy, it's terrible.
