I think this might explain why the heck this title is even showing up on Amazon as having already been published:

It also makes no sense why a paperback novelization that's allegedly been recently published would be retailing for $60.

And it's really bizarre that 3 other vendors besides Amazon are selling it.

I'd just chalk this up to nonsense though. There's no way Paramount would permit a novelization of this film to be published this far in advance.

Also, the publisher listed for this title doesn't publish fiction:

VDM Publishing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I didn't think something as wikipedia would sell for $60, it doesn't make any sense.
So it's nothing at all? Literally a bunch of wikipedia articles and wikipedia is just like IMDB so you're paying $60 for fanfiction?

    Ebay:
    It isn't.

It maybe illegal to sell it as official transformers product though unless it falls under review or spoof.

Yikes. I just read Wiki's TOS a little more closely and you are so right. My apologies.

As if I needed another reason to support my stance on not contributing to Wikis (except to correct some gross stupid error or items added by people attempting to exploit the wiki for self-promotional and commercial purposes).

Yeah, and Wikipedia articles don't fall under either one.

I can't get over the outrageous prices this particular item is selling for on Amazon. It makes me want to contact amazon admin and get the listings purged. I wouldn't want anyone to fall for purchasing crap like this.
