So I was debating in the powerglide thread that he could possible be the worst G1 figure ever made in the classics line. Got me thinking, why not list what everyone thinks is the worst G1 classics figure made. Then we can have a playoff to see who is crowned winner. Please list away. For now you can list as many figures as you like. Probably the more the better as it would have a more robust list, maybe more playoff rounds.

    My list:
    1- Powerglide
    2- Octane
    3- Galvatron

I figure I will let this thread run for a couple of days, or till it runs dry, then rank the figures in a elimination tournament.

[Saw some people listing non G1 figures. Those will most likely win hands down. I am going to not count those in the final pool]

    Either:
    Rodimus.
    Galvatron.
    Or, Ironhide.

Ironhide and Galvatron are the worst.

Octane was kickass, even if his truck mode's end was sloppy.

I am debating keeping in the non G1 classics. I probably should have been more clear on that.

What do you guys think, keep the none G1s?

Cheetor is the absolute worst by a long shot, in my opinion.

Second would be Grimlock. And then maybe distantly after that would be Galvatron, Ironhide, Dinobot, and Hot Shot. But I actually still like those figures, and forgive them their flaws for the most part.

I've never understood the dislike for Powerglide and Octane, I like both of them quite a lot.

If we're counting Minicons the little motorcycle, tank, and helicopter molds are garbage.

1- Grimlock (it's a fine mold for Overkill, but c'mon Grimlock deserves better)
2- Galvatron (Requires at least a Voyager mold)
    3- Cheetor

Ironhide. He's the one single Classics-style toy that I transformed once, put away and never touched again. Alt mode is not only boring but looks terrible with all of the seams. Transformation is far too ambitious and convoluted for a square vehicle that turns into a blocky robot... really the only thing nice I can say about him is that he looks OK in robot mode, but even that is spoiled by the electric tomato color and inexplicable blue face...ugh. He needs a redo something fierce.

I agree that Cheetor is... BAD...

But somehow he remains a guilty pleasure for me. I love that figure more than I should.

Dinobot and Cheetor, as far as the whole "CHUG" thing goes. Restricting it to G1 updates, then Rodimus. Great car mode, but terrible job of portraying the character's attitude and lean, athletic look. Just a clunky toy.

Only counting the G1 guys, Galvatron is the only one I didn't buy that was an original mold. Hell, for that matter, I bought Dinobot and Hot Shot (didn't buy Cheetor, and I honestly think Hot Shot is one of the better Universe molds... well, at least as Dion) and several of the not-original molds, and I still wouldn't buy Galvatron.

Side story: I once bought a Korean version of BW2 Galvatron, and it had his name as "Garbatron" (because in Japan, R's and L's are interchangeable and so are B's and V's.) Frankly speaking, that should be Universe Galvatron's name.

Then most G1 toys shouldn't be revived either going by your logic.

But yeah, outside of non G1 guys, the Ironhide mold is pretty bad.

    Octane is awsome.

Galvatron: what the hell were they thinking, if you had to down size one of the grey tanks cos you could have to voyager pick shockwave, he had like 5 minutes show time and the toy was not all that, could have stood to be a DLX with out any trouble. Galvatron needed that voyager spot way more.

Cheetor: just WTF? I mean really.

Powerglide: you sad ugly ugly mess.

Also these 3 not cos they are bad toys but cos they are rubbish repersentations of the charicter they are meant to be.

    Grimlock: just too small.

Silverbolt: just to big and frankly he should be on the first list cos he's a overly simple toy.

Onslught: Great toy but Onslught was never the big bruser this guy is, he had a snipper rifle looking gun, he was the guy that hung back and made plan and picked autobots at a distance, he was not build like a brick shit house and looking like he'd rip some ones head off and spit down there neck for fun. Far to bulky.
