Have you ever run into someone online or in real life, that said the most stupidest thing you have ever heard?
for me it's this:

It's going to be hard to keep this thread non-political.


When we got our first computer, my dad used to think that desktop shortcuts were programs that downloaded twice, or older versions. According to him, that's why our computer ran so slow. He'd tell us, "Don't click these Internet Explorers. This one down here is the right one. I'll delete the others later."

Mine is a tie. i have 2.
1.) after sitting less than 3 feet from a desk jockey who asked me questions for almost an hour, he looks at me and asks, "Do you wear glasses?" (which i do.)

2. i am blind in my left eye (retinal detachment) and i put it in my medical forms at every doctor's visit and i tell the assistants before they start.
and it never fails. the last 5 eye exams, i still get this: "Cover your right eye and read the chart."
i reply every time, "U-R-D-U-M-B," or "I-A-M-B-L-I-N-D."
which always ends with, "So you can't see the chart?"
