With the cube mostly destroyed, and the Sun Harvester thing gone, what will the Decepticons rely on for survival of their species in Transformers 3?

They are just going to take some cubes made up of nanobots over to the local gas station and fill up.

Soundwave can use his ability to create energon cubes. He fills them with petrol and create energon. He can sell it to both sides:D

Oooooooooo Ooooooooooooooo, Deus Ex Machina time.

I am glad you brought this topic up, my friend. We need at least 5 - 10 Deus Ex Machinas in this next film if we're going to top the last film.

Lets just say a piece of the Sun Harvester is still functional - thats one Deus Ex Machina. Thats the main one.

And Sam still has a grain of the Matrix in his sock that causes him to speak Old Cybertronian when it gets between his toes - thats 2 Deus Ex Machinas.

And Sam's grandpa's glasses are damaged but when the sand particle of the Matrix touches it - it becomes the Monocle of the Matrix. 3rd and 4th Deus Ex Machinas.

The monocle is used to give the location of the Golden Discs. 5th Deus Ex Machina.

The Golden Discs record the location of the Key to Vector Sigma which was hidden away in the Taj Mahal by a robot named Orion Pax - who was the previous incarnation of Optimus Prime in a previous life. 6th Deus Ex Machinas.

Then we have the Key to Vector Sigma that opens Vector Sigma itself. Which is a giant planetary map telling the location of the Oracle - which also conveniently is located on Earth because Primus foretells of its need on earth so the cult of Primus relocates the Oracle to Earth. 7th and 8th Deus Ex Machinas.

And the Oracle foretells to the last Prime the only thing that can defeat the still functioning sun harvester - the Plasma Energy Chamber. But thats located all the way on Cybertron! However, the oracle says that there is still a chance, if they can find the mighty chazwazzer - that will allow them to control the plasma energy chamber and direct it to fire on the sun harvester on earth. 9th and 10th Deus Ex Machinas!

10! 10 Deus Ex Machinas! Ah ha ha ha ha... :p

Keeping in line with the Sesame Street theme, Superion33's favorite word of the week is...

    deux ex machina!

Why not use the biggest, most literal one for movie 3? Primus! He's literally the god in the machine.

Humans. They'll all be captured and put into giant tubs of pink goo, and hooked into a giant computer simulation. Then someone who sounds remarkably like Megatron will spend the entire film trying to find Thomas "Optimus" Anderson so he can escape the prison he's meant to guard.

It will be an incredibly deep, philosophical film, interepsersed with several kick-ass fight scenes, and followed up with two further action-fest sequels.

Or they'll just steal the Mr. Fusion device from Back to the Future II.
