Sounds like its the name of the movie line next year. But thats all I know.

Will it just be repaints or will new molds appear too,?

An enigma, wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in mystery...

It's what some assume to be the name of the DOTM follow-up toyline, based on official pictures of upcoming figures shown at a convention. It's not a definitive name though. The figures seen so far are a black Soundwave and G1-style Wheeljack, that's all we got.

It's the movie themed toy-line taking over once the DotM toy-line ends.

IMHO its a placeholder name at the time of NYCC.

During the NYCC panel they called the line after DOTM "Transformers Trilogy." The panelists described it as a bridge line after DOTM before Prime (the implication was that the line wasn't going to go on for a very long time). They did consistently call the line Trilogy, and the implication during the panel was that Trilogy was the name, and not a placeholder name. The only confirmed Trilogy figures are the repaints discussed above at the Movie Prime with Trailer.

I was under the impression that "Movie Trilogy" was just supposed to be the title of the DOTM subline imprint. Y'know, like "Allspark Power" for the movie line or "NEST Global Alliance" for ROTF.

Could be an imprint or a subline, they didn't specify. They described Trilogy as a "bridge line," but that could their marketing speak for imprint. They were clear on the name Movie Trilogy, but given that there were no packaging samples at the convention it really could be anything from a sub line to a new line with repaints.
