I've been messing around with a lot of TR deluxes and voyagers on my desk, and although I like them, they are nowhere near as dynamic as I would like. I used to collect S.H. Figuarts, Revoltech, etc., and I'm longing for a bit more in the way of ankle tilts, double jointed knees/elbows, etc. So....what is the most highly articulated transformer you own? A picture in a dynamic pose would be appreciated too! :D

3rd party figs welcome, heck even non-transforming transformers (e.g. revoltech magnus) are welcome haha!

EDIT: a quick mention of the solidness of the figure, rather the stability in holding a pose, would also be appreciated

TFs I would consider adequately to well-articulated in just the last couple of months.....

There's a lot more. The Titans are also pretty well articulated. And MP01 which is better articulated than MP10 controversially.

I don't think it's controversial that MP-01 has more articulation, but because of its bulk and shitty knees it can't do much with it.

Quite possibly Striker Manus. Sure, he lacks double jointed elbows, but the sheer range in what he has makes them completely unnecessary. He'll generally hold any pose you want. I'll also mention MMC Azalea for having spectacular articulation and the ability to hold that pose, though she can't look up unless her head is turned.

While not a very dynamic pose, I'm still pretty proud of this for Azalea:

It's gotta be rts mold Black Convoy or Evasion Mode Prime. I think the only thing BC has Prime edged out on is the universal wrists. But Prime has way way more shoulder clearance since BC has all that truck on his.

Prrrobably MMC Kultur, he's fantastically articulated, very easy to get great, dynamic poses out of. Best articulated official TF I have off the top of my head, MP Cheetor or Optimus Primal.

Probably WFC Prime or HFTD Breacher. Might have to toss Prime FE Cliffjumper onto that list as well.

I have a few Revoltechs that have a lot of articulation, but none of them, or anything shown so far, have the ability that MP-36 has in that he can actually express emotion with his articulation. Dean's pictures prove that without a shadow of a doubt.

Occular Max Sphinx is also one heck of an articulated robot. Could an official MP Mirage beat him? Possibly. But even with a somewhat loose spoiler foot hinge on mine, he holds dynamic poses like a champ! The face is a little on the soft side, though, if that bothers you.

Speaking of Mirage, the Classics Mirage mold is still extremely articulated, even by today's standards. It's only really lacking thigh swivels, but otherwise can get into fantastic poses and hold them.

Also, did someone say MP Optimus Primal? :D

    Isn't Striker Manus

I believe that Striker Manus is objectively the most articulated transformer. Maketoys implemented a very clever strategy. Maketoys didn't implement a cornucopia of joints because that would be stupid. Actually, this statement might require you to be a little bit cerebral about this. They did put a lavish amount of joints, but it's mostly joint placement. Why implement a joint for an ab crunch when you already have one for the transformation? Why implement a backward butterfly when you get one from transformation? Why implement double jointed elbows when you pretty much get the full range? That would be a waste of time. In short words, Maketoys built the extra articulation (ab, butterfly) from the transformation... or built the transformation around the extra articulation... from a certain point a view, they are both correct. I believe the runner ups would be....

    1. MMC Cynicus
    2. MMC Azalea
    3. MP Megatron
    4. (Maybe) Rioter Desotron
