I just never considered picking it up before and can't find any examples of secondary market transactions to determine if I should pull the trigger or wait for a better deal.

$100 is a pretty good price for this figure. I have seen E-bay auctions for him run anywhere from $100-250 and up. I would pull the trigger right away. Where are you seeing this auction? lol And I live in Ohio very near Kentucky, can I come too?  

 

and rare because they were delayed and shipped months later and many of them never got to their owners so yeah your getting a good deal.

 

I sold a couple of these last year for about $180 and $200 respectivly.
