They are technically the same word but used in a different tense if thats how you want to put it. what is the definition or how would you define charisma or when ever says you are a charaismatic person. I heard someone say to somebody before say he was a Charismatic Person and say they had charisma and what i want to know is what they meant by that.

If you're charismatic/possess charisma, it means that you have this charm about you that inspires others and makes them gravitate to you.

^ If you punctuate and capitalize properly. That's how you know.

While I dislike most dictionaries because they offer each "sense" of a word, rather than an etymological tracing of its meaning, thus they do not offer a true understanding of the word, you should still check a dictionary before asking.

People naturally like you, or they naturally want to believe you or do what you say. Or you find it easier to convince them of things.

A good politician is charismatic, as is a leader who inspires his followers is usually charismatic.

A person who is "charming" is often considered charismatic.

In terms of a more nerdy definition, a role-playing character who had a high charisma would be naturally good at negotiation, diplomacy, bluffing, performing, and inspiring his party members.

This might help:

Well son, it's simple really:

F = G (m1 * m2) / r^2

Or if you have a LaTeX compiler handy:

$F=G\frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{r^{2}}$

So basically if you want people to gravitate towards you then you need to become really really really fat and get as close as possible to them.

This is also why many charismatic people believe that the world revolves around them, or that they are the centre of the universe.

A charismatic person would be very likeable, but charisma is less about being likeable because you're gentle or kind or physically attractive, and more about being likeable by having some kind of natural magnetism to yourself.

According to Charismaschool, here are some of history's most charismatic people:

Examples of Charismatic People

So a bunch of people on the list were famous for their sexual exploits, which I'm not sure is cause or effect, we've got some billionaires, a couple musicians, and some WW2 leaders.

So I guess to be charismatic you need to get a lot of money, write some songs, and then travel back to 1939 so you can make some speeches and have a lot of sex.

Goddammit, beaten to the fat joke. Now i actually have to post a constructive comment.

dont trust anybody who self proclaims he/she is charismatic. Half the time its just irl attention whoring.

N dont confuse charm with charisma. Difference between charm n charisma is surface n substance. Charm also tends to be a more conscious effort while charisma is more inherent.
