Well excluding Masterpiece Prime- since it's hard to bet one named masterpiece. What is the best version of prime?

I love the classics version- but wish the shoulders where alittle more reminiscent of G1 (square like and all red)

    20th Anniversary Prime. :D

No...I dunno. There's too many good ones....

    maybe the original or Classics.
I like the hybrid also, but I never opened mine.

I'd definitly have to go with THS 02, but for one that isn't specificly created for collectors I'd have to probably go for the new large (the one in the same pic as megs) one coming out with the new movie - can't wait for colour pictures.

Pass that I'm also a sucker for the WW Titanium version :p

MP Optimus and THS-02 Optimus are easily the best, but both are for collectors. If you want something more of a normal toy, I'd say Galaxy Convoy/Cybertron Optimus Prime. Lots of detail and articulation, plenty of gimmicks and modes, room for add-on character combiners, and the only mainline Prime to not only include a removable Matrix but a complete two-layered chamber to store it in. Not to mention the optional faceplate if you want mouth or faceplate. Great figure all around.

I'd have to go with either the original, which may lack in proprtions and articulation, but had the extra play value of a trailer that turned into a fire base, or Classics. Classics Prime is the only update of the original I've seen that's solid in both modes. While most of them have some odd details, and those bizarre cantilevered windshields, Classics prime almost looks like a next generation version of a Peterbilt 372.

Yeah, I would consider G1 Optimus to be my choice too. He ranks high (with me) because of playability i.e. trailer, decent alternate mode and "robotic" robot mode. Plus his size fits in with alot of the other TF toys.

Bendy Prime all the way! That little guy is more fun than a clown car on fire.

My favorite is (don't laugh) : Energon Optimus Prime. I just love the playability and the fact that it combines with drones. Plus, it combines with Wing Saber and Sentinel/Supreme to make more badass combinations. And it has sounds. And lights. Fun, fun, fun.

Classics Prime. Heck, I think he might be better than Masterpiece Prime even.

The Superlink version with the chrome and the show accurate paint scheme makes him so much better as well IMO.

So is this vehicle Primes only? Because Big Convoy is pretty damn cool. I also really like Classics and Galaxy Force. But I think my new favorite will be Revoltech. :rock

Classics Prime is a very nice toy, I don't have one of my own but I catch myself fiddleing with the one my oldest son has all the time. I also like the 2 pack "Ultimate Battle" Prime a lot, yes his truck mode is rediculous but his robot mode and articulation make up for it.

Bah, it doesn't even have the electronics and I never really payed attention to the show. I'll take electronics over chrome on any day. :)  Or maybe I can transfer the electronics.............

I love the Classics Prime he is the best reincarnation of Prime I have seen in a while.
ShadowPrime Uhhhh...Please change your Sig Pic thats just horrific!!! My little Niece was sitting with me waiting to use the Computer and saw that and went screaming out of the room. Seriously change it back to something allot less Horrifying.

Of the ones I have (which includes Classics Prime), I'd say either RID or Cybertron.

Classics'd be much higher if he were a little larger, and didn't have arm kibble.

    Have fun, gang!!!
