I just realized that I have a figure from every American line, except this one. Soundwave looks alright, but I've heard bad things about his legs. What's the best one? and which one would be the best, of those that are not crazy hard to find?

Of the five I have I'd have to say Rodimus is best. He should be easy to find at a good price too. I still want G1 Ultra Magnus but he's always been a bitch to find at a decent price.

The legs suck. Can't even hold his own weight let alone a pose.

Agreed, Rodimus is best, Fallen isn't bad. UM looks pretty cool, but I haven't seen one in person yet.

I'd think your best bets would be Rodimus, Scourge, Thundercracker, or RiD Optimus.

I like UM a lot, but many folks gripe about his shoulders being set back too far.

For me it has to be Sunstorm. Great mold and color.

I've had a few pass through my hands... The Fallen and SDCC Menasor (Rodimus recolor) are the best.

    The Fallen or Ultra Magnus.

I'd say Grimlock, but he was never produced.:cry

I'd have to say Rodimus or Fallen. Now, Soundwave- probably the worst mold I have seen for that size. From his waist and above, he is slick, but everything below... I still don't know what kind of quality assurance tests toys have to go through but if this can get by then there is a problem in the system. I almost get personally offended by it since I defended the Titanium line for quite a while, and then they release him redifining all the problems people had with the line.

Out of the one's released, I'd have to say RID Optimus Prime. He's a really cool toy of my favorite version of Optimus Prime (that and he's the only 6" Titanium I own, lol). Out of all of them (including the one's not released), I'd have to say it's a tie between WW Grimlock and G1 Shockwave. Personally, I'm hoping that at some point those two get released under the Universe line in all plastic.

Rodimus and Ultra magnus are nice in bot mode, their vehicle modes are alright. They seem like they are midget sized.

The Fallen was the only loose one I had ... and he totally rocked. Wish they'd make a real figure out of him someday :)

Lay off the -ed, man. He still does rock :D

I think the Titanium version was sufficent enough as a representation, but I'd like to see a character with the same type of persona appear in the future (Animated and the movies seem to be a very nice opportunity for that...). The "real" figure would then be standard..

I agree. I have few (Rodimus, Menasor, Thundercracker, and Scourge) and I'd say my favorites are Menasor and Scourge. :D

Honestly they were all pretty horrible. Rodimus and UM are *OK* but really suffer from being metal.

Scourge is IMHO one of the best Gems of the line along with downsized OpOp.

I also liked the unmade Cosmos and Shockwave, Both I wish would find their way to classics in some capacity.

Titaniums were really horrible. I don't see why those figures needed to be metal. Metal is for realistic car modes like Binaltech.

My fave Titaniums were G1 Scourge, RiD Optimus, and BM Cheetor.

I've also got a soft spot for War Within Optimus too. He's got a lot of design issues, but still such a good-looking copy of a comic-book visual model.
