I simply want to paint my toys, but have seen my friend's painted figures on which his paint applications can scratch if he's not careful transforming them. I have heard there's a type of paint for toys that never scratches. Help?

There are plenty of paints to use, any good enamel, but the process of painting is the most important. Sanding then cleaning the surface and then using thin coats is probably the best advise you can get. Check out some of the how to tutorials here. This site is full of talented resources. Good luck!
