I just found a mint condition G1 Stepper for a good price in Japan, and I'm curious about the ebay value. I haven't seen any Steppers on Ebay since the reissues flooded the market.

are you sure its an original one and not a reissue? it could probably still fetch a pretty penny, but it took quite a dive after the reissue

It has the correct stamping on the bottom of the car. It is not the reissue.

In all honestly I would say $300.00 plus for a loose complete original.

    Ebay:
NOt even. I wouldn't pay anymore than $180 -$200 for it. I need a new box & Styro for mine, find that for me.

I don't plan on keeping so, but I would be disappointed it sold for less than $200.

How much did you get yours for?

    Folks:

Not to derail the thread, but the prices going kaput when the reissue came out (and an excellent reissue he is) made me think of something. Wouldn't it be amusing for at least one reason if G1 Dreadwind was suddenly reissued?

So the big question I have, Quiktake, is how much you paid. Do you mind me asking? I'm just curious, since he's apparently quite rare, and being somewhat of a cheapskate I rarely win Ebay auctions. :)

Yahoo Japan has had a boxed stepper for $225 (missing instructions) for like 6 months, the thing just won't sell.

    Ebay:
$950 but It was also MISB and Before the reissue. I opened and threw out the box & Styro when I moved:banghead:  At that time I didn't care for boxes. I mean I friggin gave a way a Fort Max box & Styro for literally nothing. Im kicking my self in the ass now though.

I never was a fan of collecting near-impossible finds. I have Ricochet (US) now, and if I did get ahold to one, chance are I'd be stripping and grafting parts onto the new guy (who is still waiting for me to apply his labels...).
(Anywhere between $100 and $200, and only after $30 worth of alcohol.)

Anyone know where I can get TF or model parts gold chromed? Even the "oars" he's packaged with need to be treated right...
