I hear everyone talking about Fansproject? But what is Fansproject?
A third party company that makes awesome Transformer related products but without any affiliation with Hasbro or Takara.
A money sucking whore who takes all my hard earned money!!!!!!! Oh, and they make toys I think?
Here you go....
I think everyone feels this way...
hastak's secret company? jk.
How awesome would that be. If HasTak were the ones secretly controlling the 3rdP companies as a way of getting figures out there that we want but they, as hastak, won't release otherwise. That would explain why those companies havn't been shut down. And why iGear has the seeker mold.
Its a great ko company who makes transformers for collectors in simple words.
Bootleg, not KO.
Bootleg is an imitation product designed to cash-in off a more established brand. Although the term usually infers inferior quality. But it's the closest thing.
KO denotes an inferior, unauthorized copy.
I love the conspiracy theories. This would be pretty awesome if it were true. My guess is that it would probably go a long way towards changing the opinion of ppl who complain that Hasbro never listens to the fans.
It's almost like believing that Hastak is somehow behind the high quality KO's, planting false info, throwing misdirection at us, etc. You'd have to believe that Hastak has quite a bit of power for them to be pulling the strings on all of this. A stretch, but man it would be pretty cool if it were true. Perhaps one of us will have to engage in a secret meeting in some parking garage with Woodward and Bernstein in order to discover the truth.
Could it even extend as far as the Radicons?
Wow youre 100% right, I never thought about it like that. I got too consume into this ko/ bootleg that I didnt eeven notice there was a difference.
the transformers version of pixar, they don't release much but when they do it's freaking awesome
People have tried explaining it to you NUMEROUS times...
Drug lords who deal in plastic crack.
Highly unlikely. If Hastak were behind Fansproject, why not manufacture Fansproject toys on a grand scale, like they do everything else, and reap more profit?
this is the internet... do not apply logic!
No. If anything, Radicons (or the Creative forum, more specifically) operates the other way around. We've certainly people from this very forum who have ended up working in "official" capacities. Here's one such example. Also, don't take this as "people post, so Hasbro must come here seeking to hire!", which I think is some members' thinking when such absurd posts like "Hasblow you should hire this guy! Are you listening to us?", etc. It's up to the artist to pursue a career at Hasbro.
Speaking of "official", one of the most accurate words to describe FansProject is "unofficial". Granted other words come to mind ("cool", perhaps ) KO they're not.
To some, FansProject is like Batman. To me, they're more like Santa Claus. Wait, what?
I wished FansProject was like Santa Claus. When I was a kid, I didn't have to pay money for the toys Santa brought.
Because quite simply, many of the features in these toys wouldn't pass US safety standards. Off the top of my head, the sword from Warbot MOST certainly wouldn't pass I'd assume. Getting any toy passed through safety testing involves time, money, (and in the event of it failing) redesign and re-manufacture.
