I had this crazy idea when I was bored in school. Enjoy.

    OPTIMUS PRIME:
We're never to ignore our destiny's call,
So face me! One shall stand and one shall fall.

    MEGATRON:
O Optimus, you dare to challenge me?
Why throw away your life so recklessly?

    OPTIMUS:
You've lived yours with coercion, pride and stealth...
That's one question you ought to ask yourself.

    MEGATRON:
No! Why not prostrate, knowing that I'll stand!
For I shall expunge you with my bare hands!

    (They begin fighting)

    HOT ROD:
    I've got to help Prime!

    ................................KUP:
    ................................No, lad! Stay away!

    MEGATRON:
No more, Optimus Prime! Finished am I!
Grant me my mercy, I do beg of you!

    OPTIMUS:
You knew no mercy; now you plead for it?
I thought you would be made of sterner stuff.

    HOT ROD:
    (tackles Megatron)
    No, you don't, Megatron!

    ................................OPTIMUS:
    ................................Out of the way!

(Megatron shoots Optimus, throws Hot Rod aside, and approaches his wounded enemy.)

    MEGATRON:
I would have waited eons for this day.
    It's over, Prime.

    ................................OPTIMUS:
    ................................No! NEVER!
(He smacks Megatron off the ledge, then collapses.)

    ..................................................HOT ROD:
    ..................................................Forgive me...

    And now, THE infamous scene...

    PERCEPTOR:
I fear the wounds are fatal.

    ................................DANIEL:
    ................................Prime! Don't die!

    OPTIMUS:
Do not grieve for me. Soon I shall be one
With our great Matrix. Now, Ultra Magnus,
It is to you, my old friend, that I shall
Pass the Matrix of Leadership to you
As it was passed to me.

    ................................ULTRA MAGNUS:
    ................................Prime, I am but
    ................................a soldier. I'm not worthy.

    OPTIMUS:
    Nor was I.
But one Autobot someday from our ranks,
Amidst the carnage strewn on hills and banks,
Shall open the Matrix and use its power
To rise above and light our darkest hour.

'Til then...until that day...'til all are one...

Y'know, not everything Shakespeare wrote was in rhyme.

I didn't write it all in rhyme, but I can revise it if you want.

    That's a good starting point.

Shakespeare was more about Iambic Pentameter. Which that is most definately not.

Wow. Takes the sticks out people... I seriously believe this was done tongue in cheek... And yet people are critiquing something like this like it "that is not how Shakespeare wrote"?

Good try dude. I briefly lol'd at the rhymes at the beginning.... Seems like it would make a good Robot Chicken skit.

The rumour is that Willie Shakespere didn't write any of the stuff anyway. It was a guy called Charles Marlow.....................well, so the story goes!

Ah, I have heard this too.

Also Shakespeare was bisexual according to my old English Literature lecturer...if anyone's interested.

The spoilers are major for people who haven't seen the 1986 movie.

By the way, Goldlock, those quotes are awesome.
