What if Ultra Magnus want Rodimus Prime return the matrix in G1?

    Hello ,i have a question ,what of Ultra Magnus demand Rodimus Prime return the matrix to him since his is chosen by Optimus Prime to be leader in G1 ,what if he have felling of jealous ,anger ,face losing ,hate etc on Rodimus Prime as leader and he get humilated by fellow Autobot because he fail to open the matrix ?will he rebel ?
    What if Galvatron demand him to join Decepticon and get back the matrix and destory Rodimus ,shall him join Decepticon ?

    Could Springer join him to rebel as well since he too fall love to Arcee who are love Rodimus more?
    In real life ,Ultra Magnus shall have the anger and desire to get back the thing belong to him and plan to get back the matrix and the leadership since he force to step down as leader ,what do you think?

    Will Rodimus order "death sentences" by charge him for treason to Ultra Magnus if magnus fall on the pot to overthrow Rodimus?

    Later in the series Arcee was more affected to Springer and I don't think Ultra Magnus of G1 could ever get jealous, he finds himself unworthy, as he sees himself as a mere soldier and he is somewhat loyal to his leader, similar to Cyclonus. He would have never joined the Decepticon ranks.
