What if Michael bay ruined the Continuity so bad, he Made all the Decepticons there original Charcters. What if Nitro Zues was Shockwave, Dreadbot was Crowbar, Onslaught was Long Haul, Beserker was Cranckase. Mohawk could stay the same. I would of liked this idea because it could of gave these characters actual Personality. Shockwave would of died a Horrible Death though.

I think Megatron, more than any other character, taught us that dying in the Transformers franchise and getting revived would not only make no difference on your role, but even diminish your importance/impact in the whole movieverse continuum

I really liked the "Pathetic Dirty Foursome (and you make five)" dig. Would've been neat to see a re-occurring core cast of 'Cons. AOE left a huge gap for Cons, and TLK would've been the perfect movie to set this up

Yo doe 4reals I think those Primes that sacrificed themselves for the tomb in ROTF? That spoke volumes about their personality/heroics tenfold more than some drones that died nameless in Chicago. So yes, corpses do have more personality than thugs and gangstas

 

So dying nameless in the desert for a cause you believe in is better than dying nameless in Chicago for a cause you believe in?

Ok fine, we'll play your game and say the 'Cons were revived. But was it really beneficial for them? Shockwave loses his head either way. Long Haul at least gets a less ambiguous death. Crankcase gets to survive instead of being stabbed in the face with a grenade. And Crowbar gets eaten instead of being shot.

 

It's funny, because "Crowbar" gets eaten, but really, he eats crow for thinking he could stand up to Grimlock

Long Haul technically never died In revenge of the Fallen. We never saw his actual death only His tires got shot of. He could of scanned the Same Dump truck and then participated in the Battle of Chicago where his real death was by Optimus Prime

 

I went with maybe. Part of me would hate it because I'm a stickler for continuity. The other side of me wants to see the old characters back through whatever means necessary.

 

No way, Nitro Zeus' personality is miles different than Shockwave's. It wouldn't be a good representation at all.

 

I'd prefer if Onslaught wasn't named that so he could be in a future film with more screen time. I was fine with the other names though.

They could've named him Slaughtercon or Slaughterbot.

 

Nitro Zeus only has Shockwave's head. Wouldn't he techically be KSI Boss?

I prefer to imagine that Onslaught was the WM garbage truck from DC in DOTM instead of Long Haul.

Nah man, he was distracting Grimlock so his buddy Barricade could survive. The guy may have been a bank-robbing hippie, but he was a true hero, putting the safety of others before his own.

I said maybe since On the one hand I prefer Nitro Zeus to Shockwave, but I also like the names Crowbar and Crankcase better than Dreadbot and Berserker. Also because at least with calling Onslaught Long Haul you wouldn't have that whole false expectation that he was going to become some important Combaticon General character. Do that and drop a line that Long Haul and Crowbar were found greatly wounded but alive and yeah, I'd buy it.

 

Careful what you wish for, we got Topspin back.... but he just hasn't been the same since.... ya know

 

Maybe next time they'll "accidentally" give Sideswipe Dino's color scheme.
