What if Optimus Prime didn't die in the original movie?

    Magnus wouldn't have had the opportunity to show what a poor and incapable leader he was. Also, Hot Rod and Springer would have duked it out for Arcee.

    I'm saying prowl too i always knew ironhide is not leader matrial but prowl c'mon I always thought he whould step up as leader plus it whould of been cool to see his matrix coparment

    Painful as it was to watch, Prime's death effectively immortalized him in every fan's heart.

    Rodimus Prime wouldnt have become leader and Galvatron wouldn't have stood a chance in the movie.

    Prime's death was handled very well. It was the multiple autobot deaths I had issue with.

    Not to mention the continuity problems they had ressurecting Prime in the cartoon afterwards. I felt the comic did a better job at bringing him back.

    In the cartoon, Rodimus was too damn eager to hand the matrix back to a wraith.
