Nickelodeon Movies will be co-producing Ninja Turtles with Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes and Paramount Pictures. I wondered what it would be like if a not as crude TF film was co-produced with Nick Movies, considering that they obviously wouldn't push for a "hard" PG-13 like the past three films did with the drug and sex jokes. (Although I'm probably in the majority of TF fans who thought some of those jokes were funny)

Although they would be a little more childish and crude in nature.

Woah, wait, Nickolodeon is working on the new TMNT? Sigh.... Hang on woah, with Michael Bay!? ..........My childhood.........!

I liked the cartoons a lot though, at least until they started retconning everything to be aliens and alternate dimensional monsters.

I think these threads are getting a bit silly.

Seriously, though, it would have been a disaster. It wouldn't have been taken seriously and the public would have probably lost all respect for the franchise.

Most likely. But I find fart jokes to have more of a place in TMNT than Transformers, but that's just me.

Daitarn red actually...his post actually made sense!  And summed up my feelings on the matter exactly!

Every time someone posts this idea, a GPS figure crumbles into dust. Don't like the thread? Don't post in it so it gets buried. Don't like what a user has to say? Put them on ignore. Think the forum is the same unoriginal ideas over and over? Make your own original threads to balance them out. Want the quality of posting to improve? Lead by example.

I don't see Nickelodeon movies co-producing a TF film, since Nick films seems to gear towards a kid/tween audience and the TF films have been more general release / PG-13, but if they did, that would mean we'd probably get some lighter fare, maybe something like Transform and Roll Out from Transformers: Animated, but with more expensive animation.

I could see Nick Films funding a Voltron film more in the style of Speed Racer way before I saw them funding the next Bay film.

Rango was a Nickelodeon Movies film, and it was awesome. Silly, but mature when it needed to be, self-aware, and was balanced well for both kids and adults.

But if Nick Movies was co-producing a Transformers film, I think the level of violence would be heavily scaled down. No face ripping, spine pulling, no "blood", no people getting killed, (and no Devastator with testicles, probably).

I would much rather see the iCarly cast in a Transformers movie than Shia LeWhine again.

That would be a nice change of pace.

There would be Spongebob product placement throughout the movie.

As for the sequel, Spongebob himself appears and kills Unicron by plugging his systems with Krabby Patties.
Yeah you know Nick would put Unicron in the sequel.

Tom Kenny would still be Wheelie....

.....and we'd get Bill Faggerbakke as Topspin as we were promised.

Basically the same movie just with less swearing and dick jokes though it'd still suck like The Last Airbender.
