I don't think they'd make transformers very well - a lot of the plastic they use isn't of the kind that Transformers are made of.

So either I think we'll get glorified actionmasters, or a pile of ass.

If they could mass produce TFs that were as good as the customs by FR and Ng and others that go for thousands and sell them for $3-500 I would definitely buy a few a year.

    Uhh...yeah. THIS!

I will say it would be great to get a few select Masterpiece figures of Movie designs, though. Just not the whole friggin' line.

That would be total insanity price-wise.

I was just thinking about this the other day actually. Y'know what would be amazing? A transforming transformer IN scale with 12in figs. Or you know Hot Toys could just make a Mikela figure :p

I too doubt there going to Transform but considering Hot Toys's track record and the fact most of there other figures have so much detail and the movieverse Bots have even MORE detail then anything they've ever done, I wouldn't be suprised if they don't transform and are just extremely detailed robot replicas, something I can totally dig.

It would be like having a ILM model to gawk at.

That'd be awesome, but I'd be sweating bullets trying to get them. I prefer my cheaper toys that leave my wallet feeling happy. :D

I think if they were to do something for ROTF it would probably be a really nicely detailed screen accurate figure of the Fallen.

I could see them maybe doing an Optimus Prime as well, but no I don't think it'd transform. I don't think that's their thing.
Maybe a highly detailed display figure of Powered up Prime in where the armor comes off, but still, doesn't really transform.

Yeh, I'd buy em - Robot Replicas that would actually deserve that name. The recent HotToys stuff has been exceptional (especially the Iron Man, newer Predator and Dark Knight stuff), and they've shown before that they actually give a damn about scale.

So a Hot Toys Blackout would be CG accurate and large :)

About as likely for the licence to be farmed out to HT as Takara doing transformable Masterpiece Movie toys, tho. Probably even less likely, in fact. Ah well :(

I wouldn't be able to afford to collect the line, thus dropping out of the hobby, falling into a sort of madman depression, and inevitably bring about the end of the world.

I don't know if Blackout is really a big enough character for them to do though.
I could only really see them making these things out of the big name characters, like Bumblebee, Prime, Megatron and the Fallen.
    Maybe Starscream.

I'd highly doubt that every transformer would get a figure.

I doubt it'd happen at all, tbh, so wishful thinking is valid :)  But yes, it'd be Prime, Movie 1 Megatron, ROTF Megatron, Bumblebee and er that's it, no doubt.

All pie in the sky... (and I'd rather Takara did a ROTF Masterpiece series anyway, if I'm honest)

Well I hope they would do fully accurate toys of The Fallen, Ravage and Soundwave, characters who don't transform per se.
