What you think would had happened in DOTM if Bob and Alex had wrote the movie.

do you think if they had been writting the same story we had in the final movie, what scenes/stuff you think they would had included?.

Also do you think Bob and Alex would had Written a different story alltogether before they had started production?

If Bob and Alex had written the film, they would have done something completely different and it wouldn't have been as good.

I so agree! So glad they didn't write it! I don't think their material from the previous films was all that great to begin with.

We probably wouldn't be waiting for season two of Prime, but rather the first season.

For some reason, I'm tempted to disagree with you all and say it might have been better.

They would have made it better. Yes they wrote ROTF- but that was during the writers strike with 'help' from Bay and Kreuger. The original Transformers was fine, Star Trek was fantastic and so is Prime at the moment. If they had just waited until after the writers strike to make ROTF not only would that have been better but so would DOTM. We would have had to wait a little longer, but it would still have turnt out better.

Probably would've been better. Less bold, but definetely better. Being bold doesn't matter much if you go full ******ed like DOTM did.

    TF 1 was lazily written.
TF 2 has been discussed ad nauseum.
Star Trek was disappointment to the end.
Eagle Eye was stupid, as was their Zorro film.
    The Island was just alright.

Only MI3 is what I would consider good- altho it establishes their over-dependance on maguffins.

At best, Orci and Kurtzman are celebrations of mediocrity.

One would be a SW-like fantasy with prophecies and mystical artifacts, outwordly tales of Gods, that kind of fantasy thing, very Star Wars-like [like TF2007 was and ROTF attempted to be].

The other was be more of a political warfare story, focusing on Cybertronian involvement with the USA Government specifically [in both Decepticons and Autobots, see Dylan and NEST, the Moon Project too], heading more towards straigth SCI-FI, and going for a more "wordly" approach.

In fact, we could compare the villains and the MacGuffins to see the difference:

Macguffin 2007: The AllSpark, an artifact treated like a biblical item, with not only practical importance for the Cybertornians, but historical and religious importance too.
Main Villain 2007: Megatron, this one is normal, just the evil big bad of always.

MacGuffin ROTF: The Matrix of Leadership, pretty much treated like the Holy Grail of Cybertronian lore.
Main Villain ROTF: The Fallen, treated like Satan: An omnious foe who challeneges all the universe.

MacGuffin DOTM: Space Bridge [at first, anyway], shown as nothing more than weaponry, a technology made to easy your victory.
Main Villain DOTM: Sentinel Prime, shown as Well-Intentioned Extremist and mentor to Optimus, not at all a biblical figure like The Fallen.

But I think Alex and Bob would have been good too.

I herd Unicron would appear if they did TF3.

Also they probably do a better job with it than Kreuger alone,

They actually wanted UNICRON in the 3rd film so yeah, I'm kinda pissed they left the movies for Prime.

If they had been involved in DOTM, it would be 90% pre-pubescent jokes.

TF Prime is great, but they're just the lead writers. This does not equal to actually writing the episodes.
And of course, Prime being a kid's show forces them to focus on something other than "Hahahah, piss jokes and grown men in funny underwear.".

Actually that puts things into perspective, in that case DOTM probably would have been the same with them writing it

DOTM might have been a little better.

But i'd much rather have them on TF Prime, where they don't have deal with Bay and Hollywood rules dragging them down.

They don't write PRIME- they're show producers. At best they make an outline for the show, but another team of writers write the show.

And yes- I like the show. While it could be better, it could be a whole lot worse.
